INTRODUCTION

Poverty is the lack of access to basic goods and services, and this is a consequence of the
lack of employment in our country.

Some recent research seems to show that the main factors involved in current conflicts have
to do with economic difficulties.

Poverty is defined as that condition characterized by the lack of resources, means or


opportunities for the satisfaction of minimum human needs, both material and cultural.
OBJECTIVES

 Know the concept of poverty

 Identify aspects that impact on poverty

 Mention the problems facing lower class children


WHAT IS POVERTY?

Poverty is a reality that we all face, that many of us live, but that it is extremely difficult to
define and measure. Many people live in more restricted economic resources than others.
Poverty is hunger.
 Poverty is a lack of a roof under which to shelter.
 Poverty is being sick and not being able to be treated by a doctor.
 Poverty is not being able to go to school and not knowing how to read.
 Poverty is not having a job, being afraid of the future and living day by day.
 Poverty is losing a child due to diseases related to impure water.
 Poverty is impotence, lack of representation and freedom.

According to the above, we can say that poverty is the dissatisfaction of a set of needs
considered essential by a certain group of people.

PROBLEMS FACING CHILDREN IN LOW-LOW CLASS

The rooms are constructions of their homes are made of cardboard boxes and wood.
They do not have the opportunity to attend or to the public school due to lack of school
supplies.
Their diet is one tortilla a day when they have it.
His wardrobe is searched in garbage dumps.

Poverty in our country could diminish with the change of the administration, so that the
people who manage the assets of the town are an honest person and capable of handling
amounts of money that they are not accustomed to.

That we Hondurans learn to choose our authorities and that they perform in the best
possible way, trying to ensure that school-age children attend school regardless of their
economic status. Providing decent work to each family so that it can survive and have
adequate food and especially decent housing.
CONCLUSIONS

 Poverty involves ethical, economic and political aspects. It is a predominant form of


exclusion and denial of human rights.

 Poverty in rural areas has devastating effects on health, education, nutrition, access
to resources, life expectancy, income, employment, maternal and child mortality,
political participation and domestic violence, both for men HOW for women.

 The poorest population is found in rural areas or in slums around the city
