This document provides operating instructions for tool MK003. The tool is used to form and tension a clamp by threading a band through a buckle and inserting it into the tool. The clamp is tightened by ratcheting the wrench and locked in place by tapping down the buckle ears. Finally, excess band material is cut off by lifting the cutter lever.

3. Complete clamping operation by tapping down ears of buckle with a hammer or
mallet.
1. Form a clamp by threading the
band through buckle. Insert tail of clamp into head of tool and slide into slot of winding mandrel . Depress locking pawl and tension clamp with forward strokes of the ratchet wrench. Note: For extra strength double- wrapped band is recommended
4. Remove band wrapped around
winding mandrel by lifting up on locking pawl. Reverse ratchet and withdraw tensioning wrench from tool.
2. When sufficient tension has been
applied, release locking pawl and rotate tool over object being clamped.
