GULF COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) REP NO. 2122-24 GULF COUNTY AIR PURIFICATION SYSTEMS ‘The Gulf County Board of County Commissioners, Gulf County. Florida (the County”) is seeking solicitations from vendors to provide proposals, plans and costs for design, installation, and maintenance of an air purification system into the Gulf County Courthouse. Gulf County Administrative Building and Gulf County Jail RFP DEADLINE: Submitted on or before Friday, July 15, 2022, no later than 4:00 PM (Eastern) at the Gulf County Clerk's Office, 1000 Cecil G. Costin Sr. Blvd., Room 149, Port St. Joe, Florida 32456, and will be opened and read aloud at the same location on Monday, July 18, 2022, at 10:00 A.M., E.T. LATE PROPOSALS RECEIVED AFTER THE AFOREMENTIONED DEADLINE DATE, EITHER BY MAIL OR OTHERWISE, WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED AND RETURNED UNOPENED. THE TIME OF RECEIPT WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE TIME RECEIVED IN THE CLERK'S OFFICE. PROPOSALS OFFERED ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE LENDER FOR ASSURING. THAT PROPOSALS ARE RECEIVED IN THE CLERK’S OFFICE BY THE DESIGNATED DATE, AND TIME. NO FAXED, ELECTRONIC, OR ORAL PROPOSALS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Proposal submissions must submit in a sealed envelope or package, clearly marked with the Vendor's name, address with the name of the proposer, and the RFP number and title “GULF COUNTY AIR PURIFICATION SYSTEM PROPOSAL" so as to identify the enclosed proposal. Each submittal shall include one (1) original and three (3) copies of the proposal. Proposals received later than the date and time as specified will be rejected. The Board will not be responsible for the late deliveries of proposals that are incorrectly addressed, delivered in person, by mail or any other type of delivery service. The Vendor may obtain the specifications and details of this RFP from the Gulf County Clerk’s Office and must also submit in a timely manner or have delivered its final RFP proposals to the: Gulf County Clerk of Court 1000 Ceeil G. Costin Sr. Blvd. Port St. Joe, Florida 32456 “and any proposal received after the above stated deadline will be returned unopened and will not be considered. Any questions concerning this RFP must be submitted in writing no later than 9:00 am. Eastern, on Monday, July 11, 2022 and should be directed to Kari Summers, Deputy Administrator at ksummers@ gulfeounty gov and a copy of your correspondence to Leanna Cooper at infor@ gulfelerk. com The County reserves the right to waive minor irregularities, to reject any or all proposals received. and to otherwise make a decision in the best interests of the County. The Board shall have the final decision- making authority concerning any final award to a lender entered into by the County. Proposals will be evaluated and ranked in order of preference by the Gulf County Administrator. The County may also request additional information from Lender that may be necessary to fully evaluate a proposal. The proposals will be evaluated and then submitted with recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners. If only one proposal is received. the County may negotiate in good faith. Al proposals that are timely received shall become the property of the County and any costs or expenses incurred in relation to preparation and submission of proposals shall be borne by the proposer. June 2022 : NAME/DEPARTMENTI/AGENCY: ——_UF/IFAS Extension Gulf County Reporting Period: April 19, 2022 — June 19, 2022 General Extension Activities: Extension assisted citizens daily on soil analysis, turfgrass management and vegetable gardening, weed identification, bee keeping, controlling invasive species, pesticide license training, 4-H program opportunities, and more. A brief summary of outreach events and highlights is below. Agriculture & Natural Resources * CED represented Gulf County and Florida Sea Grant at the FSU Coastal & Marine Lab Open House on April 30". * CED taught classes on North Florida pollen and nectar plants for beekeeping at the Beekeeping in the Panhandle Conference in Chipley on May 6” & 7° Gulf County Extension was represented at the Tupelo Honey Festival on May 21°. The Scallop Sitter Volunteer program registration and virtual trainings have begun. Gulf County's program officially kickoff off on June 9°. * CED assisted in teaching a 4-H marine youth camp on St. George Island June 15". Horticulture: + Library talks on lawn care were held on May 12" (PSJ) and 19" (Wewa), ‘+A fall Master Gardener Volunteer course is being planned. Applications will be made available in July 4-H Youth Development & Family and Consumer Sciences + The Extension Agent position was advertised for 3 weeks and closed on May 17" Interviews took place on June 17".
