 138 Cranberry 1 ball
 or color of your choice
 Lion Brand® stitch markers
 Lion Brand® large-eyed blunt needle

ADDITIONAL MATERIALS
Circular knitting needle size 13 (9 mm), 16 in.
(40.5 cm) long

GAUGE
8 sts + 15 rnds = 4 in. (10 cm) over Rnds 1 and 2.
BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE.

NOTES
1. Cowl is worked in the round on a circular knitting needle.
2. Edges of Cowl will roll gently to create an interesting edge.

COWL
Loosely cast on 53 sts. Place marker for beginning of rnd and join by working the
first st on the left hand needle with the working yarn from the right hand needle
and being careful not to twist sts.
Knit 5 rnds.
Rnd 1: K1, *p1, k1; rep from * around.
Rnd 2: P1, *k1, p1; rep from * around.
Rep Rnds 1 and 2 for 12 more times.
Knit 5 rnds.
Bind off loosely.

FINISHING
Weave in ends.
