SUPPLIES GAUGE
US Size 6 DPNs (4 mm) 18 stitches x 23 rows
US Size 6 Circular Needle (optional) in stockinette = 4 inches
1 skein of Malabrigo Rios: shown in
Plomo. 100% superwash merino 
(100g, 210yds)

THE PATTERN
CO 88 sts. Place marker. Join in the round.

Brim:
K1, p1 ribbing for 13 rounds.

Body:
Knit for 2 rounds.
Purl for 2 rounds.

Decrease Rounds:
Round 1: Knit.
Round 2: *K9, k2tog; repeat from * to end of round. (80 sts)
Round 3: Knit.
Round 4: *K8, k2tog; repeat from * to end of round. (72 sts)
Round 5: Knit.
Round 6: *K7, k2tog; repeat from * to end of round. (64 sts)
Round 7: Knit.
Round 8: *K6, k2tog; repeat from * to end of round. (56 sts)
Round 9: Knit.
Rounds 10­11: Purl.
Round 12: Knit.
Round 13: *K5, k2tog; repeat from * to end of round. (48 sts)
Round 14: Knit.
Round 15: *K4, k2tog; repeat from * to end of round. (40 sts)
Round 16: Knit.
Round 17: *K3, k2tog; repeat from * to end of round. (32 sts)
Round 18: Knit.

Finishing:
Cut the yarn. Thread the yarn through all 12 loops on the needles and
