According to Hindustan times , The cumulative number of COVID-19

vaccine doses administered in the country crossed 86 crore on Monday,
the Union health ministry said. More than 88 lakh (88,98,560) vaccine
doses have been administered .

The daily vaccination tally is expected to increase with the compilation of

the final reports for the day by late night , the ministry said.

The vaccination exercise as a tool to protect the most vulnerable population

groups in the country from COVID-19 continues to be regularly reviewed
and monitored at the highest level

Care Workers. The program was expanded with time to include vaccination
of Front Line Workers, citizens more than 60 years of age, citizens more
than 45 years of age and eventually citizens more than 18 years of age
