Yes. In the earlier many features have been removed, and hence the cost can be reduced.

Indian customers paid $3,000 to $4,000 for the Lullaby. The Lullaby Warmer was the biggest seller in terms of units.
It had been developed in 2008 for the emerging markets based on an existing GE product and did not carry any of
the extra features found in the Giraffe.

• DOES IT RESONATE WITH LOW-RESOURCE CUSTOMERS?


It resonates with low-resource customers. This is evident from the adoption of Lullaby Warmer by public hospitals and
middle/low-end private facilities.

• DOES IT RESONATE WITH LOW-RESOURCE CUSTOMERS?


Yes, there was a competition from local domestic manufacturers, but the quality of local products did not match up with
the GE Lullaby.
