1. What is your initial understanding of Purposive Communication?

My initial thoughts about purposive communication are communication with context, not just
a conversation that spits out words without a filter. A communication that holds facts and truth
accepts opinions but does not rely on them. Purposive communication aims to successfully and
efficiently communicate concepts and ideas through writing, speaking, and presenting.
Communicating is the best way to share our thoughts, and our voices are the most potent power
we possess because they can help or break other people. This subject will widen our knowledge
about the different kinds and ways of communication.

2. How can this subject contribute to the fulfillment of CLSU Philosophy, Vision, and
Mission?

Teaching students to develop their communication abilities with purposive

communication subjects can contribute to accomplishing CLSU's philosophy, vision, and
mission. I believe in CLSU's philosophy, vision, and mission, and I think every student can
achieve it if they know what platform and medium they can use to voice out their ideas and
concepts. And students with enhanced skills in communication and broadened knowledge in the
field of communication can survive the reality of the significance of communication in every
aspect of life.

3. As a student in BSABE, in what way can you contribute to the attainment of CLSU
Philosophy, Vision, and Mission?

As an aspiring engineering student, I believe that the PVM of our institution is the
foundation for every individual in the university. Creating and making an excellent and
empowered human resource is an incredible and fulfilling job for every university. To be
challenged and fall but know how to stand up to fight again, make our knowledge to wisdom,
and be skillful is not enough; we must understand why we are doing it. To be part of a university
that caters to growth and cares for society will be an excellent opportunity for any student.
