Today’s Essay [042922]

An interesting question by Toki was out that "Will the stagnant or same task increase your
motivation?" This question arises because we discussed the schedule and task of one of our
co-workers looking for a new candidate for this company. As a result, the task is still
pending, or there is no progress on the task—another reason they might not know what to do
due to the difficulty of finding candidates.
Besides, let us go deeper to find out what motivation is. Motivation is an internal
process. Whether we define it as a drive or a need, motivation is a condition inside us that
desires a change, either in the self or the environment. In our discussion, we got some
exciting things that the 'same job' or 'same task' in the long term can cause decreasing
motivation in work. Nevertheless, this will be different if the task is "the same" but varies.
Also, some members agreed that their motivation would be stable (not up and down)
depending on the task.
In conclusion, this is a normal thing that can happen to a person's mood swings.
Humans have different behaviors. It might sound unprofessional. However, this mood change
will occur, or workers will feel that the work is no longer suitable. Therefore, in the meeting,
Toki explained that we must think about the co-workers' feelings about what they do, and we
must understand each other. Also, in my opinion, this company provides and has a good
environment where the members are willing to help each other and gain communication, for
example, between subordinates and supervisors. In addition, a person's behavior differs in
being given a task. For example, they might be slow, but the work is organized, or some fast,
but there is still something to be corrected.
Hence, I've learned much more about discussing schedules, tasks, motivation, and
how to cope with them. Work is not easy, but we can do our best by communicating and not
feeling isolated. I felt the difference before meeting and after the meeting. I feel like I need to
be able to learn professionally and on time in doing things. We, as employees, do not take
something for granted. Because we never know what someone is doing for us. Lowering
expectations to be perfect in every task still does not mean underestimating the work and
work.
Finally, in administration, I can see that the work done must have targets, and we
must understand what we are doing with our tasks. Because self-motivation is the hardest
thing for some people, it must be done to not be an obstacle or problem with our work. As
Patricia's article yesterday, there are some of the best foods for combat stress and improving
your mood for yourself.
Lastly, This is extra information that SEKAEL doesn't look for candidates carelessly
for extra information, especially this company that does not use LinkedIn and up-work
anymore. In addition, the company thinks it needs to require more professional movement
and minimizes human errors in posting something on the platform. Sekael moves very
carefully and needs the right decision to still see the future of this company. Wish a bit of
good luck to SEKAEL.
