A library management system is a project that manages and stores books information and exclude the

use of paper work by managing all the book information electronically according to student’s needs. The
system helps both students and library manager to keep a constant track of all the books available in the
library. It allows both the admins and the students to search for the desired book. Thus, this system
produces manual work to great extent allows smooth flow of library activities by removing chances of
errors and details. This system has books well organized and systematically arranged in different
categories and the system so that user can easily search and find a book.

To be able to access this system the admin or the users must log in first. Once they have logged in, they
can fully accessed the system. Then, the admin will be able to see the total of books, total of students,
total of users, and total book issued in the dashboard. When the admin click the buttons they have the
authority to modify the student information, book information, the issued books and the return books
information by updating, deleting and saving the data inputs. Admin is the one who administers the
system by adding, updating and removing the data information into and from the system respectively.

A library management system is a software that uses to maintain the record of the library. It contains
work like the number of available books in the library, the number of books that are issued, returned or
renewed book. Also, it helps the students to have an easier use to the system and they should need not
to go to the library for issuing purpose.
