Reflection on lesson planning

Review your plan using these questions:

Learning objectives:

- Are they SMART (specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and time-bound)? How can you improve
them?

- Do they directly reflect both the main and complementary learning standards you chose for this
lesson?

Planning for learning:

- How have you planned for pupil-centred learning?

- Did you plan for all three stages: Noticing, Structuring and Proceduralising? What activity/ies did
you plan for them?

- What kind of differentiation have you planned for? Why?

- What kind of formative assessment have you planned for?

- How will you know if your lesson has achieved the learning objectives?

- After reflecting, what changes could you make to your lesson plan to improve it?
