Greetings!
I saw the Grant Assistant job posting on the Gerry Roxas Foundation Facebook page
and am writing to apply for the position.
I have a tremendous desire to serve others, which is why I have found so much joy in
volunteering and conducting community service, as well as offering support to my peers and
serving the community in ways that benefit them. I also like finding answers to social issues,
which I believe would be a valuable tool in your role. My inventive personality and solid skill
set, I feel, will aid my success.
In 2015, I graduated from Capiz State University Pontevedra Campus with a bachelor's
degree in hospitality management with a focus on food service management. I also have 18
education units from Colegio Dela Purisima Concepcion. I am now studying a Master's
Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Hospitality Management at Filamer
Christian University.
For my professional experience, I've spent about two and a half years in the BPO
business. Working in the BPO business has molded me into a person who can interact
with people of all personalities and attitudes. I've also improved my communication skills,
which are extremely important in the hospitality and development sector. In terms of
teaching experience, I worked as an administrative assistant at Capiz State University-
Pontevedra Campus, but I also taught 12 courses in the BS Hospitality Management degree.
Currently, I am an active young leader in an NGO, and I am actively participating in and
executing different community initiatives connected to the Sustainable Development
Goals in the region, as well as some international organizations.
