Application

 Monitors are really a fuse which is showing


the presence of water and/or dirt

 According ATA103 they should only be used


in into plane operations (JIG is different)
 They must be changed out after one year or
on high differential pressure (22psi(1,5 bar))

 Monitors must not be used with Military and


premixed fuels

 They have been proven to be disarmed

 The chemistry of the super absorbent


polymer does not work with FSII

 Cases were military fuels generated SAP

• They must not be used with premixed or

there have been indications of SAP
shedding of monitors
