Dear Director Wright,

Hello, first off I want to say that you are doing some excellent work here in the task force and
that you’ve been a major contributor at making a difference when it comes to saving lives. But in
recent events, over the past few years, the problem of uncontrollable major forest fires has had a
significant increase; especially the ones that happened during the pandemic. Though everyone
here has done an excellent job at managing and fighting these fires, especially those out in the
field actually doing all the grunt work, we need to find better methods to combat these fires. So
the purpose of this email is to discuss about creating a R&D, research and development,
department/team dedicated to creating different solutions to be able to better control and
extinguish these forest fires.

This can be of benefit to us and because it allows us to deal with fires before they become a
major problem, it will also minimize damages to land, property, and casualties. Though I think
we are doing an amazing job right now, it never hurts to try to do better, especially when it
comes down to being able to save as many lives, wildlife and land as we can.
I already have a list of people willing to help start and be a part of this team so trying to get
people on board with the idea isn’t going to be an issue. We could even just have a test trial as to
how it would go and so we could iron out certain details that we didn’t think of at first. So I was
wondering what your thoughts of the matter are on the idea. So if you have any questions please
feel free to email me during my work hours between 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and I will be more than
happy to answer them; but please do get back to me on what you think about this idea. I know
you are a busy guy so please take your time on, and keep on doing the great work!

Thank you for taking the time to read this email, and have a nice day.

Sincerely,
Nehemias Galvan
