1. Q: Tell me abaout yourself and why you want to be a mechanical engineer ?

A: Introduce my name rima angraini from a graduate of sriwijaya state
polytechnic in 2022 with the motto I want to become a mechanical engineer
who has the value of integrity and is able to dedicate my knowledge and
skills in applying the knowledge I got from the education period. A
mechanical engineer is a job that greatly maintains the value of discipline
and maintains the value of cleanliness in working.Q: What do you think are
the most important skills to have as a mechanical engineer ?
A: I think the most important skills as a mechanical engineer are discipline,
accuracy, a sense of wanting to learn and initiative, where a mechanical
engineer must perform well at work, especially in busy work hours with a
messy workspace will be a lot of equipment and materials around should be
avoided or arranged to a safe place so as not to cause work accidents. After
the emergence of a sense of initiative, it must be taken discipline of time, a
technician must be on time to determine the target of achieving the time
worked, and also must be careful in working, a mechanical engineer must
work together to reduce fatigue itself. if done in the form of a group, it can be
divided into their respective tasks to streamline work time.
2. Q: Whats step would you follow during the machanical engineering design
process ?
A: What I think in the design of the process is to find the formulation of
problems to be solved in the work, collect a lot of data, methodology and
conclusions of problem solving so that at the time of design does not stop
the data needed.
3. Q: How would you describe a technical mechanical engineering problem to a
non-
technical ?
4. A: I will describe it with various sources and methods of problem solving steps
that will
be done and explain basically what will be solved the problem, so non-
technical will understand from the explanation of a mechanical engineer.
5. Q: What are you strengths and weakness ?
A: My strength in working is that I can be placed anywhere, I can work with my
colleagues who make the work lighter and more efficient, I can work under
the pressure of orders to pursue the target of achieving each one. For my
weaknesses, I cannot afford heavy work alone, because it can pose a risk of
work accidents.
