According to your perception, hierarchically organize the characteristics of a successful engineer,

which appeared in the infographic. At the end, explain the reason for your organization scheme.
Answer: I think the order should be as follows:
1. Creativity as successful engineers have an innate ability to "think outside the box" and this is
what leads to more inventions.
2. Continuous learning, teaching and methodologies are constantly changing, which is why
engineers must be open to learning new things.
3. Analytical ability, it is important for engineers to think analytically to fully define a problem.
4. Communication skills, for an engineer, communication means the ability to not only understand
technical complexities.
5. Logical thinking, an engineer must know how the system works, what can go wrong and how to
fix it.
6. Attention to detail Engineers are always faced with extremely complex projects and attention to
every detail is important.
7. Mathematical ability, to be a successful engineer, you must have outstanding mathematical
abilities.
8. Troubleshooting Any project, no matter how big or small, is going to run into problems.
9. Leadership, successful engineers also need well-developed soft skills so that they can perform
non-technical tasks with ease.
10. Team player, teamwork drives the successful completion of a project and is just as important as
good leadership as it helps make the work environment much more pleasant.
2. Explain why attention to detail is an important skill for a successful engineer.
Answer: It is important since the projects in which engineers participate are extraordinarily
complex and involve an infinity of different tasks that always require paying attention to every
detail to guarantee the success of a project and prevent later difficulties. A small mistake at any
time during the planning, development or construction stages could lead to catastrophic disasters
like the various sinkholes we have seen in recent years on various highways across the country.
3. Taking into account the different fields of engineering study, What additional skills do you think
an engineer must develop to be successful? Minimum mention 3 and explain them.
Answer: Other skills that yes or yes an engineer must have are:
1. Proactivity: Engineers are expected to take proactive actions to solve problems and, even more,
to propose improvements even if they are not urgent. The need for a spirit of continuous
improvement and excellence is fundamental.
2. Resilience: Ability to accept "defeats" and continue working to achieve goals. That is, understand
that failing is also part of the experience; as long as you know how to overcome and learn to
anticipate so as not to trip over the same stone.
3. Adaptability: Today the only safe variable is change, those who can continuously adapt will be
the people who have the most opportunities.
4. Identify environmental conditions: Today's engineers need to have the ability to proactively
identify environmental conditions, the ability to interpret the signals they are receiving, and
understand how they are inserted and find solutions to them.
5. Design thinking: every engineer must have in his mind a ready answer to the question, how can I
improve things? Therefore, it will have the challenge of offering new technological possibilities to all
sectors and industries of the market.
6. Cognitive load management: this era contains too much information, so you must have a great
ability to analyze and select the most important in order to prioritize according to the assigned
activities.
