Demam berdarah adalah salah satu penyakit paling berbahaya di dunia. Demam
berdarah adalah endemik di sebagian besar negara tropis di Pasifik selatan, Asia,
Karibia, Amerika Serikat dan Afrika.

Penyakit ini menyebar dengan cepat di sebagian besar daerah perkotaan tropis di
dunia. Artinya orang-orang di daerah ini memiliki risiko tinggi tertular penyakit ini.

Demam berdarah disebabkan oleh virus. Virus ini ditularkan ke manusia melalui
gigitan nyamuk yang terinfeksi, biasanya Aides Aegypti. Dengan kata lain, penyakit
ini tidak dapat menular langsung dari orang ke orang.

Penyakit ini ditandai dengan demam tinggi, sakit kepala parah, sakit punggung, nyeri
sendi dan otot. Terkadang, banyak pasien mengalami mual, muntah, dan ruam pada
lengan, wajah, dan kaki. Tidak ada pengobatan khusus untuk penyakit ini.

Penerimaan Di Inggris, kebanyakan orang yang jatuh sakit dirawat di rumah oleh dokter keluarga

mereka. Tidak semua penyakit dapat diobati di rumah, namun, begitu banyak orang dirawat di
