ANSWER

COMES NOW, defendant, Gandessa Singson, by counsel, for Answer to the Complaint

for the Collection of Sum of Money with Damages filed herein, would state and show unto this

Honorable Court that:

1. The Defendant admits the evidentiary facts contained in Paragraph 4 of the Complaint.

2. The Defendant admits that Plaintiff lent money to her and her sister Rojena, by which

Loyd, brother of Defendant and boyfriend of Plaintiff, signed as guarantor to the loan.

3. The Defendant admits that two loans, as alleged in Paragraphs 6 and 7 of the Complaint,

were evidenced by two separate loan agreements in a promissory note, with distinct terms

as to defendant and her sister Rojena, which was deemed payable upon demand.

4. The Defendant alleges that she wasn’t able to receive a demand letter that was addressed

to her as alleged in Paragraph 8 of the Complaint.

 5. The Defendant also denies such allegation that she refused to receive the demand letter,

for she did not receive any.

6. As evidenced by an Acknowledgement Receipt, attached herein as Annex A, Defendant

avers that she already paid the money she loaned from Plaintiff, dated October 29, 2021.

WHEREFORE, premises considered, Gandessa Singson incorporates its response to the

Complaint filed by the Plaintiff as fully set forth herein and respectfully prays before this

Honorable Court that the Complaint filed against her be dismissed, awarding further relief as

may be deemed just and proper.
