Choice of words in communication:

The choice of words can be defined as the words one uses from their
vocabulary when speaking or writing, also defined as the manner in
which something is expressed in words.
 Words can uphold the truth or lie.
 Spoken words are thought to be so powerful that they can create
worlds, creatures and human beings.
 Communication serves four major functions within a group or
organization. Control, motivation, emotional expression and
information.
 If a person is using an incorrect the word, the message delivered
is not meant.
 Incorrect word choice leads to the misunderstanding among the
audience.
 It sometimes makes a situation awkward and unclear and
sometimes make no sense.

Communication is fundamental to the existence and survival of

humans as well as to an organization. It is a process of creating
and sharing ideas, information, views, facts, feelings from one
place, person or group to another.
Communication is the key to the directing function of
management.
