(Activity Title: The Hunt for Best Product and Best Booth during “Junior Trade Expo”
SY 2017-2018)

One of the competencies to be achieved in Entrepreneurship 10 is to

conduct an actual selling. The purpose of conducting an actual selling is to learn
and understand the activities in the business. This school year, the actual selling
lasted from July 31 to August 4, 2017. The Hunt for Best Product and Best Booth
were conducted and winners were given prizes. Giving students rewards for their
efforts showed that their hard work is appreciated.
Criteria for best product and best booth were discussed. Agreed criteria and
checklist were posted outside 10-MALASAGA room to remind each group.
The program started at 11:00 in the morning. Opening program were
facilitated by the Entrepreneurship Officers. A short message from the principal,
Sir Wilhelm M. Sales was an inspiration to all the students. Invited judges were
welcomed and introduced, followed by a dance intermission from
Entrepreneurship students.
Ma’am LEONORITA PINEDA and Ma’am ERLINDA TOBIS were invited
last August 2, 2017 to evaluate the stall/booth based on the rubrics provided.
They visited each stall, interview the students about the company name, label,
logo, packaging, production, cost, and mark-up of their product, and give
comments and suggestions for improvements. Best in product were evaluated by
Entrepreneurship subject teachers of GSCNSSAT namely: Sir Clyde Belasa and
Sir Gibb Borongan.
All Scoring sheets were gathered and summed up. The following results
were garnered:
