NCAA Division I and II Initial-Eligibility Requirements

Core Courses
• NCAA Divisions I and II require 16 core courses
The breakdown of requirements is slightly different. See the charts below.
• NCAA Division I requires completion of 10 core courses, including seven in English, Math or Natural/Physical
Science, before your seventh semester (senior year). Once you begin your seventh semester, you may not
repeat or replace any of those 10 courses to improve your core course GPA.
