The title of my ptoject is micro small and medium enterprises(MSME).

A micro enterprise, where the investment in Plant and Machinery or Equipment does
not
exceed one crore rupees and turnover does not exceed five crore rupees.
A small enterprise, where the investment in Plant and Machinery or Equipment does
not exceed
ten crore rupees and turnover does not exceed fifty crore rupees.
A medium enterprise, where the investment in Plant and Machinery or Equipment does
not
exceed fifty crore rupees and turnover does not exceed two hundred and fifty crore
rupees.
The Micro, Small and Medium enterprises(MSMEs)is one of the most vital sectors of
any economy in general
and India in particular in ensuring equitable, inclusive, and employment friendlY
Economic growth.
This sector also plays very important role in socio-economic development of Indian
economy on account
of the inherent advantages like low capital requirement, high employment
generation, decentralisation
of industrial activity, utiliaztion of locally available resources and widening of
entrepreneurial base.

I have chosen this as my topic because I am interested to know about "micro and
small scale industries",
as it provides chance to many people with insufficient resources to take intiative
in starting a
business. It also facilitates employment by utilizing the entrepreunrial skills of
people in the country
and improves their standard of living. This project would give me an opportunity to
learn more about
MSMEs and at the same time it would be useful academically. This has made me choose
'Micro and Small Scale
industries' as my topic for project.

The objective of my project is to analyze the perforamnce of MSME sector.This would

include the analysis
of growth and development of MSMEs in the Indain economy, to study the contribution
of MSMEs to the
development of our country,to study the nature of operations and tpye of
organizations and industry and
to know the schemes framed by the government under the MSME sector, to study the
contribution of MSEMs
in different sectors of the economy and to find out how much it has progressed and
what more is needed
for its advancement.The aim is also to identify the critical barriers in the growth
of Indian MSMEs and
identifying enablers of technology innovation for Idian MSMEs

The project would cover all about the MSMEs.It would include an intorduction, brief
background of MSMEs,
objective of developing these enterprises,an overview of the types of MSMEs,thier
role in the Indian economy,
government's assistane given to them,impact of covid-19 pandemic on these
enterprises,their survuval in
the pandemic,recent and upcoming developments,problems and issues faced by
MSMEs,and the changes that could
be brought to make these enetrprises more effective and efficient.In short, in this
paper an attempt will be
made to touch upon, in brief, some of teh various measures in recent times
undertaken by governement of
India to advance this vibrant and booming sector.The paper will also discuss the
present status of MSME
sector and its performance.The study would highlight the amjor challenges faced by
the MSMEs sector in the
Indian economy along with its policy implication.

First of all, all the data and material that is relevant to the project will be
collected and analysed.
I will then arrange the data in a sequence as per the requirement of the project. I
will also collect the
statistical figures to study its growth. Then, I will procede with the making of
the project by putting
down the data collected in a sequential order. Having done that, i will integrate
all the parts into one
whole and that would be the completion of my project report.

The project would also inorporate the growth of MSMEs in fixed

investment,production performance , employment
generation and export contribution.This would be supported by statistical
figures.Thus, the objective of my project,
i.e., to analyze the growth and development of MSMEs would be achieved.
