Job Title Area Manager ( Nursing)
Reporting Manager Chief Nursing Officer
II. JOB PURPOSE
To ensure smooth nursing care services in the facility and assist Chief Nursing Officer in managing operations.
To effectively interface with patients/ attendants/ physicians and service
user area heads.
To demonstrate ability to design and implement systems and process
improvements.
To demonstrate ability to drive prompt, safe & efficient Nursing Care.
To plan and deploy nursing staff for optimum utilization.
To ensure implementation of policies, rules & regulations of the
Institution.
To disseminate evidence based practices & current trends & focuses on
quality improvement measures.
To determines KRAs and Performance Plan of the Nursing department.
To ensure effective Performance management System in place.
To identify training needs, design programs and ensure compliance.
Core Responsibilities
To ensure career planning, retention and motivation of nursing staff.
To plan, provision and utilize nursing manpower & material requirements.
To be well groomed, punctual and adhere to company policies and
practices.
To have complete orientation of iHIS, ERP, QMS and OSL system of
Hospital
To have complete Awareness about Disaster Management Programme
(DMP) of the hospital.
To Comply with the service quality Process, environmental &
occupational issues & policies of the respective area
To Comply with patient safety policy
To ensure safe utilization of equipments and proper waste disposal
system.

III. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
B.Sc (Nursing)/ GNM from BNC recognized institution preferably with 10+
yrs. experience.
