Hello, I’m Maulana Ihsan Yusufi Suyatno

Thank you tim nestle for giving me that opportunity to join the selection process of management
training program. The reason why I chose nestle over many other companies its because as the largest
publick health food company in the world. Nestle held an unfield experience of more than 149 years in
food industry market in Indonesia which including the expertise and field for marketing sales and other
departments in combined surrounding food industry. As a not so fresh economy graduate student to a
workforce I crave for the opportunity to learn and thrive under an organic and sound training program
which nestle can offer for me to challenge my self and start my career. In addition I found nestle
promising with the brands and assets it holds, which includes pet care, health care nutrition, insulin
beverages products and so forth. And with the covet has changer our lifestyle remarkably.

It also has changed what people made choice to consume on their daily basis and I think nestle hosts the
cars to provide good food for people’s good life under this very situation going forward. I consider my
self to be a strong candidate of this marketing training position. I’ve shown interest in the field of
marketing and consumer behavior early on in university time. During that time I not only dedicated to
absorbing knowledge in classroom but took action to lead a marketing campaign as a strategy supervisor
for student club to help increase attendance for the following semester. And with the group efforts of
our staffs marketing campaign was a huge success and with the experience I’ve shown to be an excellent
communicator good at delivering outstanding customer service and creative problem solver. Another
reason nestle choice me is because I’m self-motivated and very ambitious, during my journey of
studying abroad I put up my marketing goggle with me to fully experience how companies market their
products to approach consumers and try to figure out the reasoning behind those campaign as both a
marketer and a consumer. And with my multicultural marketing experience as a consumer and my
eagerness to a real immersive learning experience as a marketer. I’m confident that I’m somebody in
nestle it can train up and develop to be the person you need me to be and be a force for good. Thank

 1. Describe in detail a situation where you proactively resolved a difficult problem

saya diminta untuk merekam video YouTube dan saya tidak tahun apa-apa tentang subjek tersebut. Jadi
saya mulai dengan meniliti segala sesuatu tentang produksi video. Kemudian saya mengumpulkan
semua peralatan yang saya butuhkan. Saya menulis naskah dan saya mulai merekam, dan butuh
beberapa kali agar saya berhasil. Jadi saya punya masalah besar yang saya tidak tahu apa-apa, saya
memecahnya menjadi bagian-bagian yang lebih kecil dan saya mengerjakan masing-masing bagian itu
satu per satu sampai saya mencapai solusi.

I was asked to record a Youtube video and I knew nothing about the subject. So I started by researching
everything about video production. Then I collected all the equipment I needed. I wrote down a script
and I started recording and it took several takes that I made it work. So I had a big problem I knew
nothing about. I broke it down into smaller parts, and I work each of those parts one at a time until I
reach a solution.

2. Tell me about a time you had to deliver disappointing news

Tim saya harus mengirimkan video Youtube berdurasi satu jam yang sangat besar, tetapi saya harus
memberitahu bos saya bahwa kami tidak akan dapat membuatnya, tetapi saya menyarankan agar
kami membagi video itu menjadi bagian-bagian yang lebih kecil dan merilis cuplikan video setiap
hari dalam daftar putar. Idenya berhasil dan kami mendapatkan lebih banyak suka daripada yang
kami kira akan kami dapatkan dengan video berdurasi penuh. Jadi saya menyampaikan kabar buruk,
tetapi saya selangkah lebih maju dan saya sudah memiliki solusi untuk masalah tersebut.

My team had to deliver a massive hour long Youtube video, but I had to tell my boss that we were
not going to be able to make, but it I suggested that we divide that video up into smaller pieces and
release a snippet of the video every day in a playlist. The idea worked, and we got far more likes
than we thought we would get with a full length video. So I deliver the bad news, but I’m one step
ahead and I already have solution to the problem

3. Describe in detail one of your most significant achievements over the last one year.

This year's achievement is contributing to the Kugar Pandawa Lima organization, where I am the
coordinator and take part in realizing the cooperative established by the organization.

4. Describe in detail a situation where you had to collaborate with a difficult colleague/ peer and
how you overcame it

saya memiliki rekan kerja baru, jadi manajer saya memberinya waktu yang sangat sulit karena dia tidak
memberikan hasil. Tetapi saya menyadari bahwa rekan kerja baru ini tidak memiliki orientasi yang baik,
jadi mereka seperti tersesat dan tidak tahu bagaimana melakukan pekerjaan mereka. Jadi saya
mengusulkan program orientasi baru dan saya menjalani program orientasi itu dengan rekan kerja saya.
Dan hari ini rekan kerja itu bekerja dengan sangat baik dan manajernya senang.

I had a new coworker, so my manager was giving him a really tough time because he was just not
delivering results. But I realized that this new coworker did not have a good onboarding, so they were
kind of just lost and they didn’t know how to do their job. So I proposed a new onboarding program and
I went through that onboarding program with my coworker. And today that coworker works really well
and the manager is happy.

5. Why do you want this job?

Saya menginginkan pekerjaan ini karena saya menikmati sensasi pengejaran yang datang dengan
penjualan yang mendapatkan orang-orang yang bahkan tidak akan memberi anda waktu untuk berbalik
dan benar-benar bergantung pada anda dan menonton untuk datang dan membantu mereka. Itu hanya
membuat hari saya.

I want this job because I enjoy the thrill of the chase that comes with sales, getting people that won’t
even give you the time of day to turn around and really depend on you and want you to come in and
help them that just makes my day.
