AGENDA:

1. Transcript of records and diploma

- No final announcement from the Office of the Registrar.
2. Special term
- If there will be a special term, it will be for the whole month of July.
3. INP Grade
- The student will be given an INP grade if the student did not submit the requirements due to
intermittent connection, mental health issues and financial issues.
- The student will be given an INP grade if he/she submitted complete requirements but the
computed GWA did not meet the passing grade or cut-off.
- If the computed GWA is near the cut-off, the student will be put on deliberation.
- If the computed GWA is far from the cut-off, the student can have a remedial examination
from the professor. The student will be given a sufficient time to study.
- INP grade will not show up on portal, will wait instead till December to complete the
requirements given. Once completed, the INP grade will be replaced with a numerical grade.
- For graduating students, the deadline for submission of requirements is until May 31, 2020.
4. ME Department
- The department wants to start giving problem sets at the start of the week which will be
submitted the end of the week.
- The faculty department will upload the revised course plan of their respective subjects.
5. Prime
- No announcement yet from Prime.
- P2,000 is non-refundable.
- Need for clarification: Refund and review classes. Others are fully paid while others are not
yet
- Is everyone willing to go to review classes once PRIME has resumed operation? *Risky and
unable to focus
6. Board Examination
- Definitely there would be no August board examination.
- No official announcement regarding the June, July and August board examinations.
- There would be no mock boards.
7. OJT
- Enroll OJT for special term, no problem if 240-hour requirement is not completed. More on
project based. ME Department will conduct a meeting along with company for the project
based.
- Minimized on-site activity because of pandemic
- Can be done through webinar
- There are 20 existing moa with company from ME department.
- If there’s no existing MOA, the company must coordinate with the department for the
proposed project-based.
- Parents must be willing to sign a waiver for the students.

8. Power Plant
- Passing powerplant – 60%
- Gradable assessment: 100 maximum score for the first problem set.
9. ME Lab:
- Possible lab reports to be submitted: 1-2
- There would be an alternative learning activity.

10. ME LAW:
- Is it required to add a summary of the subject or how the subject was understood at the end
of the chapter? (no need)
- No changes should occur, background will suffice. Make presentation look better
- Progress report must be detailed.
- There are research materials about the chapter that will help address this issue
- Process of consultation for 5E to 5A & 5C: If there are concerns or chapters applicable for
hvac or fire pro for instance, the group assigned to those specific topics will assess that part of
5E’s work.

- Grading system
- 60% – from adviser
- 40% – from peer
