DEATH PENALTY

We live in this world where many things are unlimited and we can consume or share it
whenever we wanted. People tend to give unlimited second chances to a person they know or even a
person that hurt them the most. When it comes to a person life, who committed a crime that is beyond
humanism, is death penalty should be given to them? Or should we give them a chance?

For some, a death penalty is a good thing to punish people who had done crimes that need to be
paid by his or her life. They think that taking the lives of a criminals will help our nation to be more
civilized and systematic, and see this kind of penalty as a way of preventing the increasing rate of crimes
in our country. Others thought that if this kind of punishment will be given to a person who had done a
tough crime, it would be safer and lessen their worries.

On the other side, some thought that if this would be the way of punishment, there are
criminals that would be scared of getting involve in crimes that may go beyond humanism. For some
people, they think that the death penalty might the way of scaring people to do crimes that are unjust
and for them to feel at ease.

Indeed, it’s easy to be a human but hard to be humane. Taking one’s life was never a smart way
of making a change for a country, a person may committed a crime or mistakes but he or she always
deserve a second chance, a chance to live and to change. Everything in this world changes, so people
can too.

No matter how bad a person may be, he or she deserve another chance to live and to repent for
the things he had done. Life is one of the greatest gifts that God have given to us, it would be beyond
humanism and beyond the Ten Commandments too if a person takes another person’s life. Death
penalty is a punishment for wrong doings, but taking one person’s life can be considered as a wrong
doings too.

Some think it might be a great move for a country to make citizen more disciplined but the
death penalty is unjust for me. It is not right for a human to take another human’s life just because this
person did a terrible or bad thing. If we do death penalty, what will be the sense of punishing a human
because of the thing that he did that goes beyond the law. Our lives are full of second chances, we
should learn to give second chances for us to be deserve of the unlimited chances that God gives us.
