CONTRIBUTOR’S AGREEMENT

This document is only understanding between two parties for the purpose of
joining as Legal Content Writer, here. The Post is offered by „The Law
Classroom‟ (here after referred as TLC). Person who is willing to work as a
Legal Content Writer is Harsh Srivastav, here after referred as a Writer

1) Parties
Writer is engaged in the business of writing articles and other materials on a
freelance basis. TLC is engaged in the business of article publication.

2) Relationship
The parties expressly agree and acknowledge that the relationship created by
this Agreement is one of Independent Contractor. TLC is not the employer of
Writer, and Writer is not, and will not be treated as, an employee of TLC for
employee benefits purposes or any other purposes.

3) Contract Period and Termination

(a) This agreement shall come into force on signing by both the parties and
shall continue until terminated as provided by either party. If either party
violates a term of this Agreement, then the other party (the "Non-breaching
Party") may terminate this Agreement, effective immediately upon delivery
of written notice of termination by the Non-breaching Party.
(b) Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may terminate this
Agreement at any time for any or no reason, effective upon Fifteen (15) days
prior written notice.

4) Duties to be performed by the Writer

(a) Writer agrees to submit at least one Legal note, opinion or current
awareness pieces related to law (hereafter all referred to as “Articles”) to
TLC on weekly basis. However, in case of failure to submit the article,
reasonable excuses will be entertained by TLC.
Note: What is “reasonable excuse” depends solely upon the discretion of
TLC.
(b) The writer agrees not to be a part of any wrong, illegal, criminal or in any
other act which is incompetent in that situation; if writer found in these kind
of acts, will be removed from the ambit of TLC. Also TLC shall not be liable
for these kind of act done by Writer at any time.
(C) The writer agrees that he/she shall not engage in any acts, which will
disrespect or cause harm in any way to the nationality of the INDIA and other
Countries during the course of period of TLC; and not be working with any
other organization who work similar to TLC
(d) Violation of Clause (c) shall be liable for compensation of minimum
Rs.100 which may extent to Rs.500 to the Defence or Orphanage as a
donation; or any other institution of social work as the situation need so; also
will be remove from the ambit of TLC.
5) Changes to Material Submitted by Writer
Writer agrees that editorial board at TLC may make any changes or additions
to the Article(s) prepared by Writer, which the board in its sole discretion
may consider necessary, and may engage others to do any or all of the
foregoing, with or without attribution to Writer.

6) Representations and Warranties of Writer

(a) By submitting an Article to TLC, Writer represents and warrants, that the
Article is Writer=s original work and there is no impediment to its
publication, that the Article is not owned by any third party, that the Article is
accurate, that the Article has not been obtained by unlawful means, that the
Article has not been previously published in any manner or medium,
specifically including, but not limited to, print or electronic means, and that
publication of the article by TLC will not violate any copyright or other
intellectual property right of any third party.
(b) In making a submission writer agrees to allow TLC (“Thelawclassroom”)
to publish original articles written by writer (the “Posts”) on TLC‟s website
(“Thelawclassroom.com”), social media and/or wherever TLC shall choose.

7) Confidentiality
Writer acknowledges that he/she may be furnished or may otherwise receive
or have access to information which relates to the TLC‟S past, present or
future Program, experts/mentors lists, creative works, marketing strategies,
pending projects and proposals, and other information which gives TLC an
opportunity to acquire an advantage over its competitors who do not know or
use it (“the Information"). Writer agrees to preserve and protect the
confidentiality of the Information. In addition, Writer shall not disclose or
disseminate the Information to any third party.

8) Perks
In return for the said duties the officer will get a post of Legal Content Writer
at TLC.
TLC agrees to provide all the services currently available or to be added in
future on TLC absolutely free of cost to the writer.
The commission fixed by TLC for the Campus Ambassador, same
commission will be given to the writer if the registration(s) has been done
through the writer.
