Class Rules

1. Follow directions and sit in your seat when you enter the classroom. Sharpen your pencils now
not after you get settled.
2. Have assignments that are due ready and materials out for the day.
3. Keep your body and your belongings to yourself.
4. ASK! Be apart of our class and actively participate.
5. HAVE FUN, SMILE, KEEP MOVING FORWARD

Rationale

1. It keeps students safe, in the right place, out of the hall, and ready to do todays work without a
bunch of distractions. Sitting in your chair helps with attendance and keeps the aisles clear.
2. It allows for both us to be ready to go when the bell rings. So much time is wasted by waiting for
the last second to get homework or assignments out this stops that problem.
3. JR. High students are very touchy and keeping yourself to yourself keeps students from touching
each other and focused on today. Also prevents injury and unwanted attention.
4. Be involved it is how students are responsible for their learning. It allows me to gauge their
needs and who is not giving any effort.
5. Attitude determines your latitude. Check your emotions at the door its hard to teach when
someone has uncontrolled emotions going off in the middle of class.
