Training on Quality Assurance Frameworks

in Flexible Learning, Quality means as a
measurable variable. That is, in meeting
predefined norms, standards, requirements
(Feldman, 2005).
Quality in teaching and learning can be
seen in the way the knowledge, skills and
ability of the teacher are employed to
develop meaningful pedagogic experiences
for students. Such experiences are evident
when teaching impacts learning and learning
influences teaching.
 Quality Assurance means as ongoing,
continuous process of evaluating,
assessing, monitoring, guaranteeing,
maintaining, and improving the quality of
a higher education system, institutions,
or programmes.”
In a flexible learning, it is a pedagogical
approach allowing flexibility of time,
place and audience including - but not
solely focused on - the use of technology.
In here the Quality Assurance is applied
as it used to carry out quality management
and is a method to help make sure certain
quality standards are fulfilled despite of
a flexible learning situation. Quality
assurance can be particularly important to
ensure that a school with the flexible
instruction still develops and performs in
line with the curriculum and standards in
place.
