which makes a planet exert extremely powerful results. A
planet will lift a person up high in society during its
mahadasha and antar dasha.)
Pushkara Bhaga – Pada 3, 21º Aries (This degree is
even more special than Pushakara Navamsa because it
only occurs in less places than Pushkara Navamsa and
there is no degree in between, it’s only one specific
degree)

The animal of Bharani nakshatra is the elephant. Elephant

is big, bulky, huge, and when elephant runs or stampede
the ground shakes. Elephant has an excellent memory. He
or she will never forget what right or wrong you did to
them. They can take either revenge on you or hug you 30
years later if you met them by chance. Elephant is a family
animal, they have partners, children, grandparents, aunts,
uncles etc. When one dies, they all come to the burial
ground because elephants actually know to dig the ground
to bury their dead family and relatives on rare occasions.
Its pretty much an animal with a human heart. They can
consume 50 gallons of water and 200-600 pounds of food
per day. Elephants are slow walkers, walking on toes as
shown in Nat Geo documentary. They are very protective
about everyone they know, not just their own young ones.
Elephants are also known for their beautiful tusks.
A Bharani person is extremely protective of their family
and children. They lash out at anyone trying to come after
them for any type of reason. They usually take time to do
their tasks and in that they do not like to be disturbed, else
they get irritated. Once you do anything wrong to a
Bharani native they will remind you of what you did to
them even after 30 years; they can be your best friend and
close family member at times but they will give a hint that
they didn’t forget what you did to them when they were 8
years old.
Elephants have tusks, which are their teeth hence, Bharani
people will have quite long teeth and usually some issues
with the teeth which is karma due to what is happening
with elephant in nature for many years, where people are
hurting them for their tusks. This translate into Bharani
people even having a botched job with a dentist at one
point in life where they would have to do several
procedures to get their teeth correct.
The element of Bharani is the Fire of Yoni. This fire is the
fire of destined birth. It’s the fire of sexual expression
when the fire is at its maximum. A Bharani person is quite
restraint in early part of their life but when they come into
their sexual maturity, they blossom much faster and catch
to those who have already blossomed before them. The
Yoni is the gateway of birth and not just a physical private
part of a woman. The other symbolism is the boat, which
takes the native into the realm of ancestors on the other
side. Act of sex with a Bharani person is like an anchor for
the opposite sex. They feel fulfilled and attached to the
symbolic boat. But due to the devata of Bharani one
usually has some issues with the womb either before or
after the birth of a child if Bharani is influenced or
aspected by a malefic.
The fire of creation shows a Bharani person is fulfilled
through having a child. The womb is the result of Yoni’s
presence.
The devata of this nakshatra is the graceful Yama. He’s
the one who takes you in his cradle on his black buffalo to
show you the reality of Universe vs. the illusion you were
living as a physical body.
Knowing these small facts about Yama we see that the
native is attracted to death, loves to know what is on the
other side. They even go through near death and out of
body experiences. Bharani natives always get skin issues
in the leg, some form of injury to the leg in their lifetime.
Knowing that Yama is the one who judges us after our
death, the Bharani native always judges people and love
being in the place of either being a lawyer or fights for
injustice or being in a human resource position where they
deal with legal policies, rules, regulations. Such natives
are also attracted to pathology, undertaker and
gynaecologist. Since Yama took a stance against his
stepmother a Bharani native will have a hard time getting
along with mother, especially if it’s a stepmother and will
also rebel against their father for not seeing what was
happening with them.
Yama is about keeping the order in the Universe,
following rules and laws. This can also translate into
following a code; whether code of ethics, code of God, cult
or government. You will notice such people love Samurai
culture of code and love wearing ancient body armors.
The Bharani natives will have an interest in studying about
Egyptian culture and history alongside for instance, about
Machu Pichu Peru. This interest comes due to the fact that
bodies in their culture were mummified as they knew after
death and rebirth the native will come and collect their
belongings and their body. Since these cultures dealt with
death in such a mystical and beautiful way it only relates
to honoring Yama. The ritual of death is one of the most
important ritual your body can experience while on this
planet. Whatever culture honor death, honors Yama.
Shamanism is a big thing with Bharani people. They either
take interests in becoming one or make friends with
modern day shamans. Shaman is a person who connects
with the dead souls and works in the world of death.
Yama due to his injury on leg and his brother, Shani, who
gets debilitated in Bharani both are slow movers. Since
Yama gets delayed due to obstacles in his path the Bharani
natives, too, gets delayed in their undertakings and any
type of work they take on. Such people even if promptly
somehow always are delayed in que.
Sun being the hottest and biggest thing in the sky shows
no one can look into his eyes or else they go blind. Bharani
native’s always at some point in early childhood do not
look at their father eye-to-eye. They always either look
elsewhere or close their eyes. They also tend to have very
gloomy eyes or eyes with shadow of darkness around it.
You can easily spot Bharani eyes.
Being the son of Sun, Yama has a great authority, which
transpires into human behavior. Bharani native is all about
having the authority. They sometime may not even listen
to others because they feel their authority is being
questioned.
There is always some minor or major issue that occurs at
the last minute in whatever task they try to take. If they
start shooting a movie then on the scheduled day, they
would encounter rain on the location set. If they are
lawyers then last minute some paper work or witness
might go missing.
Yama is about taking life, taking the soul from human bio-
mechanical suit and transporting it into its true form on the
other side; we can see this same behavior in Bharani
children where they would say phrases like “All done, I
am finished, goodbye, I am done with you, I am finished
with you.”

Aanjjan Srivastav
This is a chart of one of my favorite Indian TV serial actor,
Aanjjan Srivastav, who reminded me of my astrologer
uncle in Delhi. Aanjjan played the role of a family man in
the serial “Wagle Ki Duniya”, I came across a video on
Youtube which was title “Katha Upanishad between
Nachiketa and Yama. Aanijan played the role of Yama and
I quickly looked at his birth chart even though his time of
birth is not available, but he has Rahu in the nakshatra of
Bharani, and this particular episode was filmed during his
Rahu dasha but based on his time of birth the dasha would
fluctuate in years.
This is the Moon chart of famous Mob Boss, who left the
underworld long time ago but now is a famous online
personality. Mercury is in the 3rd house of communication
in Bharani.

John Gotti
Simply known as Teflon Don, he was one of the most
famous mob bosses of our generation from New York city.
From the Moon both Jupiter and Saturn are in the 8th house
in Bharani.

Quality
Bharani is known to be a Ugra nakshatra, which are best
for funeral rights, going to war, causing destruction,
learning about death, search for paranormal, ghost, spirits,
scare someone, tantric fire rituals, crematorium, funeral
home or where dead rest. One question one would ask,
should we open a business related to Bharani on the day of
Bharani? My answer is no. Because when you are opening
a business, its an entity on its own. Its work is related to
Bharani but it’s a newly born artificial organism. Opening
it means you are giving birth to it from the womb of your
labor. Bharani stands for the ending, so opening the
business on the day of ending means the business is
destined to end. My advice is to open a business on basis
of one’s dasha, yoga and transiting Moon in Uttara
Phalguni, Pushya, or Rohini.
Bharani has the quality of taking things away, so if one
wants to take something away from someone then this day
becomes potent, but again, what are you trying to take
away? If you forcefully take something away from
someone Yama will tax with triple interest so be careful.

Caste
Bharani is an outcaste nakshatra, which means they will
always do and like things, which are against the social
norms of society. They will feel excited and ostracized by
friends, family and the outer world. This is why the outcast
nakshatra individuals do extremely well spiritually and
become legends because they do not believe in the status-
quo. Since Bharani is the nakshatra of ancestors, due to the
nature of soul being extracted by Yama and taken to pitra
loka, these people behave like Yama. Bharani natives are
not afraid of the gore, blood, dead nor the rotting flesh.
On a normal basis such people would be great pathologist,
but on the other side can become victims of the
underworld, the world of crime, murder and extortion.
These professions are known to be outcaste as no one
wants to hear about such work for the day. Bharani people,
even being the outcaste do their work to the T by following
all the rules and regulations of the game they are playing.

Sounds

The sounds for Bharani nakshatra are Lee- pada 1, Loo-

pada 2, Lay- pada 3 and Low- pada 4. One must look at
their chart with accurate time of birth and see where the
nakshatra of Bharani is in their chart, which means where
is the sign of Aries in one’s chart. If it is in the 10th house
as in for Cancer ascendant, then using such brands or name
that starts with such sounds would be beneficial for one’s
status and career. It is also important to see where the lord
of the nakshatra is placed in the birth chart because
activating such names, symbols or brands will activate that
planet which rules these sounds.

Remedies
The best remedy for this nakshatra is to honor one’s
ancestors, cooking food for them and offering in their
name to a temple, mosque, church or synagogue. The other
remedy is to keep their teeth in great shape at all times,
using a brass elephant statue at home where the trunk of
the elephant is raised up with full tusks. The direction of
the elephant statue depends upon the planet sitting in this
nakshatra because each planet has their own direction.
Sun- East
Moon- Northwest
Jupiter- Northeast
Mars- South
Venus- Southeast
Mercury- North
Saturn- West
Rahu- Southwest
Ketu- Northwest

Observations
On November 11th, 2019 during full Moon of Bharani I
received the saddest news from a pet psychic that my cat,
Fatty, has passed into the spirit world because he ran away
from our home in Texas and never came back. I do not
want to go into details because it will bring up my
emotional love for him but this was definitely Bharani
Moon news. On the same day at night after my work I just
wanted to get away from thinking and was in my cigar
room browsing Netflix and Amazon Prime when suddenly
the movie “Christmas Carol” popped up which is the new
animated version starring Jim Carry, and yes I have seen
this movie 4-5 times before as its one of my favorite
movies but it was again suggested to me on the Amazon
Prime so I watched it again and loved it. If you haven’t
seen this movie it’s a complete theme of Yama and
Bharani from the opening scene.
On January 5th, 2020 I was watching a movie called
“Before I wake”, which was about a young gifted boy who
went from one foster home to other due to demons in his
dreams, the theme of Bharani was crystal clear. The boy
couldn’t sleep at night as Bharani people have a hard time
sleeping on time, including the stepmother who was the
co-main character in the movie. The stepfather wore a
watch upside down on his wrist, which Bharani people like
doing as they do not enjoy looking at time because it
represents mortality, most of the time they don’t enjoy
wearing a wristwatch at all. The main room of the boy had
a painting of a whale, which again is represented by
Bharani as it is like the elephant of the sea. The battle
between Yama and Shani took place in the school of the
little boy too. The main theme was the grim reaper like
character who comes and takes away people, similar to
Yama.
On January 18th, 2020 I watched the movie ‘Die hard: with
Vengeance’, and in that movie I noticed that Bruce Willis
wore his wrist watch upside down and I immediately
thought of Bharani nakshatra; to my surprise his Mars is
in the 8th house in Bharani nakshatra and directly opposite
to Moon on that day was Bharani.
On February 1st, 2020, while Moon was transiting the
Bharani nakshatra I was suggested a video on Saturn V
rocket history. Even though I have watched such movies
before but it has been 2 months or so and today suddenly
something sparked in me to watch the video again, which
was quite different from other documentaries, even though
this has nothing to do with Bharani, it has everything to do
with Moon’s degree, because directly across Moon’s
degree is Swati nakshatra. The opposite nakshatra works
just as much as the Moon nakshatra or any other planetary
nakshatra position.
On February 2nd, 2020, while Moon was in the last pada of
Bharani nakshatra I was recommended a video on
Youtube and started watching it called “Ending of each
NCAA tournament” from 2010-2019.
On February 14th, 2020, when Moon was transiting the
Vishakha nakshatra my wife and I decided to go for sushi
and after searching for many sushi restaurants we settled
on one, Yama Tori Sushi, again “Yama” the opposite
nakshatra to Vishakha 21 degree yogatara. Then my
illustrator called and said he was thinking about Yama and
wanted to know more about him, which was a surprising
text.
On the same day I rented the academy award-winning
movie “Parasite”, which is about a family living two lives.
Living split lives. I am sure by now billions of people
around the world have heard about this movie. When you
watch it you will know how beautifully the Visahakha
theme plays out in it.
On February 28th, 2020 I watched a movie called “The
Foreigner” starring Pierce Brosnan and Jackie Chan. It’s a
movie about a father whom after losing everyone in his
family through a bomb blast, rape, and murder sets out to
seek revenge on the terrorist, who killed his daughter in a
London bomb blast. Once you watch the whole movie you
realize the whole theme of Yama and his dogs taking the
souls away. Ironically there were two dogs in the movie as
well.
On June 17th, 2020 I watched a movie called “The
Darkness” starring Kevin Bacon which was all about
theme of shamanism, death and had a very strong element
of a bull. I do not want to give away the movie here but it
is a horror movie based on Native American culture.
On September 7th, 2020, my wife dropped her nice clock
and broke the glass while cleaning, which is clearly a
Bharani theme, as they do not like time or looking at
clocks or watches.
On October 31st, 2020 Moon was transiting Bharani and I
watched a movie called Mothman prophecy, which is
about death, predictions of future deaths, although I
haven’t finished the film yet I had to get this in my
research and note today is also a Halloween night.
The reason why I do not have more research points
because I experienced very similar or expected themes
playing out again on new moon cycles.
