RULES FOR EVENTS

RANGOLI COMPETITION RULES


 Rangoli art should be of 3 ft x 3 ft. or More
 Theme of Rangoli is “Indian Culture”.
 There will be only one round of competition.
 Maximum time to complete the Rangoli is Two hours.
 Teams will be responsible for arrangement of the material required to prepare
Rangoli. Only Rangoli colors can be used for making Rangoli.
 The participants will not be allowed to refer to any printed material etc. for
preparing Rangoli.
 A group may have not more than Two Participants.
 Multiple entries by one person are not allowed.
 Any act of indiscipline by participants calls for cancellation of registration.

Judging Criteria: Judging will be based on the following Criteria- Overall


Appearance and appeal, Details and Clarity in Rangoli art, Color combination,
Creativity.

MEHNDI COMPETITION RULES


 Participants must bring their own material .(mehndi cone , Lemon Juice, Etc.)
 Participants have to apply Mehndi on the Palmer as well as the dorsall side of
the hand.
 Participants can apply Mehndi on their own hand or any other person’s hand.
 It is one round event.
 Time Limit is Two hour.

Judging Criteria: Neatness, Creativity

MASTERCHEF RULES: "COOKING WITHOUT FIRE"


Veg. Sandwich & Mock tale
 Maximum time 35 - 45 minutes.
 Exceeding 40 minutes shall lead to deduction of marks.
 Exceeding 45 minutes shall lead to disqualification.
 Maximum 5 ingredients.
 Minimum 3 Dishes to present.
 A group may have not more than two participants

Marking criteria: 70% on taste & 30% on presentation, Decision of the jury will be
final & binding

PAINTING COMPETITION RULES


 Theme of poster competition is Swatch Bharat Abhiyan.
 Students will be responsible for arrangement of the material required to prepare
the Posters.
 There will be only one round of competition.
 The medium of painting shall be pastel, crayon, water colour or oil colour.
 Complete discipline and silence should be made during the entire event.
 Students are not allowed to carry any pictures from outside or through mobile
phones.
 Maximum time to complete the Posters is two hours
 Discretion of judges will be final and abiding.
 Any act of indiscipline by participants calls for cancellation of registration.

Judging Criteria: Interpretation and the clarity of the theme to the viewer, Creativity
and originality of the depicted theme, Quality of artistic composition and overall
design based on the theme, Overall impression of the art.

DANCE COMPETITION RULES


 Participants can be Solo or Group.
 Entries should be done within the prescribed time period; no late entries would
be entertained.
 The Music track should be submitted 2 Days prior the performance in form of a
CD or a Pen drive.
 Costumes are compulsory.
 Maximum Strength of a Group should be 10 members.
 Timing of the performance- Solo: 5 Minutes, Group: 8 Minutes

NOTE : Any participant (In Group) should be a part of only ONE Group. Multiple
participation in the Event (Group) will result in disqualification.

SINGING COMPETITION RULES


 Participants can be Solo or Group.
 Entries should be done within the prescribed time period; no late entries would
be entertained.
 Maximum Strength of a Group should be 4 members.
Note: The Competition format will be announced before 3 days.

CHESS COMPETITION
 The chess tournament will feature single players competing in the classic chess
board game
 You have to move the piece you touch
 The rules of the tournament will be based on the Rules and Basics at chess
 No player substitutions will be allowed.
 Depending on participant numbers, the tournament may be single elimination,
pool play, or another format.

CARROM COMPETITION
 A group of Two participants. (one boy and one girl)
 Multiple entries by one person are not allowed.
 The rules of the tournament will be based on the Rules and Basics at Carrom
 No player substitutions will be allowed.
 Depending on participant numbers, the tournament may be single elimination,
pool play, or another format.
TUG OF WAR COMPETITION (Boys) & (girls)
 Each team in a Tug of War competition consists of eight people.
 At the start of the pull, the centre line of the rope should be immediately above
line marked on the ground.
 Both teams pull the rope, the winner being the team who manage to pull the
mark on the rope closest to their opponents over the centre line.
 The rope must be pulled underarm and nobody’s elbow must go below the
knee, otherwise a foul will be called.
 Matches are often a best of three pull, the winner winning two out of the three
pulls.
 From each class maximum 2 teams are allowed.

VOLLEY BALL (Men’s), THROW BALL (Women’s)


 1 Team from each class
 The rules of the tournament will be based on the Rules and Basics.
 Umpire Decision is Final

CRICKET Men’s
 1 Team from each class
 6 over match,
 The rules of the tournament will be based on the Rules and Basics of cricket.
 Umpire Decision is Final

ATHLETICS
100 mtrs, 200 mtrs, 400 mtrs and Rely
 100 mtrs, 200 mtrs, 400 mtrs separate for boys and girls
 Rely - 4 runner should be present (2 Boys and 2 Girls)
 No player substitutions will be allowed.
 Multiple entries by one person are not allowed.
 Any act of indiscipline by participants calls for cancellation of registration.
