Embarking from its inception in 2007 within the
corridors of Sri Ramachandra Faculty of
Management Sciences, SRIHER, "ETHOZ" has
blossomed into an unparalleled cultural fiesta
embraced by college students. Today, infused
with fresh zeal, we joyfully beckon you to ETHOZ
‘23! Hailing from every corner of Tamil Nadu,
students are poised to partake in this
management extravaganza. We extend a cordial
invitation for your participation, offering you a
chance to be a pivotal part of this exhilarating
journey.
All participants are required to carry their college ID
cards.
Participants should carry their own laptops, dongles,
pendrive etc. if an event requires any.
Participants are not allowed to form team with other
colleges.
Participants should report at the venue at least 15
minutes prior to the commencement of the events.
Violation of the rules will lead to disqualification.
The decision of the judges would be final and no further
queries will be entertained.
The organizing committee is entrusted with the power to
make changes in the program whenever required.
No negotiation on the prize money will be entertained.
The institution neither provides any means of
accommodation to the participants nor any
reimbursement on travel. The participants have to bear
it on their own.
Vulgarity of any manner is not appreciated.

(Participants for this event can be prepared on the topics such
as current affairs, Tag lines on brands, Award winners in various
fields, Famous books and authors. )

FIRST ROUND: Will be conducted manually by organizing


team
SECOND ROUND: Will be conducted by Quiz master.
THIRD ROUND: This will be the final round and the Winners
will be selected by the Quiz master and Organizing team.

Note: Replacement of any participant of a team is not allowed

CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION

3 Investigators together
This event aims to promote teamwork and collaboration among students as they
work together to solve the mystery. Their hands on experience will help in
improving their skills in problem solving and decision making.

Objective of the game: To investigate a mock crime scene, collect evidence and
solve the mystery within a specific time frame
There will be a total of 2 rounds

First round:
A case file will be provided for each team describing the background
information, witness statements and the overall crime scene narrative. Each
team will be given time to read before going to witness the crime scene.
A mock crime scene will be provided for the teams to analyse. Each team will be
given 2 minutes to observe the scene
After observing, each team will be called to present to the judge about what
they witnessed at the scene.
5 teams closest to the description of the scene will be qualified for the next
round
Second round:
The team members must give a detailed description about the events which
occurred at the crime scene and who the possible suspect could be
Each team will be given approximately 10 minutes
The team closest to the description of the event and correct identification of
the suspect will be declared as winners.

PARTICIPANTS : 3- 6 members
PERFORMANCE TIME : max 5 minutes
DANCE FORM : Free style (Western, Folk, Classical, etc.,)
JUDGEMENT CRITERIA : Theme of the song, steps,
expression and energy level.
Each group must bring their own soundtracks.
Dance and songs should be free from vulgarity.

THEME: UNLEASH YOUR CORPORATE FASHION
RULES:
Maximum 3 teams per College
Each team can have 5-8 members on stage.
Background music to be in an mp3 format in CD/pen drive and need to be
submitted to the event heads 1 hour prior to the event. Technical issues and
format compatibility for the audio files will be the sole responsibility of the
team.
Teams will be judged based on the costume, theme, walking, stance and
attitude.
The decision of the judges and organizers will be final and binding.
It is compulsory that all participants must possess valid college ID card.
Use of cigarettes, alcohol and any unfair means is strongly prohibited both on
and off stage.
The vulgarity of any kind is prohibited.
Only formal outfits will be considered while evaluating the score.
Accessories and carry some corporate properties for bonus points.
No short clothes.

ROUND 1:
This round is fully a corporate walk. Maximum time allotted will be 6+2 minutes
including questions from a judge to a team.
The first 5 teams with high scores will be finalized for Round 2

ROUND 2:
Concept Act: In this round a situation will be given and the team should prepare
and perform with in given time.

BUSINESS PLAN
4 ENTREPRENEURS TOGETHER
Sri Ramachandra Faculty of Management Sciences is actively seeking
ways to nurture entrepreneurship. In line with this objective, it takes
great pride in offering a platform within Ethoz to support ambitious and
aspiring students in their journey to become entrepreneurs. This support
is extended through the organization of a business model competition
specifically designed for management students to gain insights and
explore their entrepreneurial skills with a picture perfect pitch.

Rules and Regulations:


1. A Team can have maximum of 4 members.
2. The team leader is required to submit an abstract along with the team's
name and their presentation to srfmsbplan@gmail.com by November 5,
2023.
3. Total Presentation time is 10 min (8 min for presentation and 2 min for
Q&A session).
4. Maximum number of slides 25
5. There will be two rounds of evaluation:
Round 1: Presentation of the Business Plan.
Round 2: A 2-minute Napkin Pitch & 2 minute Q&A Sections(Reserved
for teams selected in Round Each team should nominate one
representative to present their plan before the jury panel.
8. The Jury Members decision would be the final.

All teams will be given a purse value of 90 crores.


All teams will be given a booklet that contains the list of players to
be Auctioned along with their respective base prices.
Till 1 crore, the prices will be increased by 10 lakh; 1-5 crores, the
bid will be increased by 20 lakh; 5 crores and above, the bid will be
increased by 25 lakhs or 50 Lakhs based on time.
A team must have a minimum of 15 players and a maximum of 17
players.
A final list of 15 players must be submitted for valuation (Playing-
11 & Sub-4).
Every team must have at least 3 batters, 3 bowlers, 1 All-rounder
and 1 wicket-keeper.
No teams should have more than 4 foreign players in the playing 11
& 2 foreign players in the bench list.
Every team must have at least one uncapped Indian player.
Weightage will be given for bench players too.

Round 1: Quiz Quest
Rules: Only one mobile per team is allowed. Upon any
malpractice, the team will be disqualified.

Round 2 : Whisper challenge


Rules : Only one teammate should whisper the message
at once, and the other teammate should not provide
backside assistance. The team will be disqualified if any
regulations are broken, including the use of hand
gestures or loud speech by teammates rather than
whispering . Selection criteria : Teams will be chosen for
the final round based on their highest possible score; in
the event of a tie in scores, the selection criterion will
also take into account how long it took the team to
complete their task.

Round 3: Connexion
Rules : The participants should not use mobile phones to
obtain answers ,if discovered the particular team will be
eliminated

Round 1: Show your talent (maximum 3 minutes)
Individuals are to display their talents in a short and impactful
manner. Whether it’s singing, dancing, magic tricks, stand-up
comedy, etc.

Round 2: Transcend the Task


An on-the spot task will be given to the participants.

Round 3: Q&A - Showstoppers


Participants will have to perform ramp walk on the stage followed by
Q & A by the judges.

RULES:
This is an individual event.
Contestants should adhere to designated time limits for their
stage performances, talent performances, or any other segments
of the event.
Contestants are expected to maintain a professional and
respectful demeanour throughout the event. Unsportsmanlike
conduct or inappropriate behaviour may result in disqualification.
Organizers reserve the right to disqualify any contestant who
violates the rules or engages in inappropriate behaviour.
The Judge’s decision will be final.

Theme: Entrepreneurial Spirit in Everyday Life

It is an individual event. One entry per participant


Basic edits like change in exposure and cropping are allowed. Yet,
use of color enhancement and filters, or any other kind of editing
is not allowed
The photo can be submitted in .jpeg or .jpg or .png formats
Entries must not contain date stamps, watermarks or any text on
the image
Submissions will not be accepted once the deadline lapses
Plagiarism in any form will lead to disqualification
The entries should be mailed to ethozphotography@gmail.com
on or before 02/11/2023 by 10pm
The file name should consist of the respective participant’s name
followed by the name of the college
Vulgarity of any kind will lead to immediate disqualification
Judging Criteria - Based on scores assigned by judges and
number of likes received for the photograph on the official
