Introduction:
 Cyber Security Specialists are in charge of detecting vulnerabilities and dangers in
networks, software systems, and data centers through continual vulnerability scans,
monitoring network traffic, and ensuring that hardware and software applications are up
to date.

Technology improvements have revolutionised the way people interact, finance, shop, and pass
the time during the previous 20 years. Moreover, despite its modest market size, Canada was
the third most targeted country in 2018 for potential cyber assaults. The increased threat of
cyber assaults has made governments and industry more conscious of the need to safeguard
and defend the information and systems on which Canadians rely. As a result, cyber security is
emerging as a distinct subject encompassing a wide range of specialties in science,
mathematics, business, social sciences, and computing and engineering schools.
As a result cybersecurity has become more important to protect all the computer systems of all
businesses and industries. Some roles to consider in cybersecurity are:
 Ethical hacker/penetration tester
 Cybersecurity Analyst
 Forensic Investigator
We can find number of jobs as cybersecurity offers you job in every sector, such as:
1. Healthcare
2. Small Industries
3. E-Commerce
4. Government
5. Finance

Part 2: Government of Canada Careers Classification

The NOC is a systematic categorization framework that categorizes every occupational


activity in Canada. Its particular professions are classified and categorized mostly based on the
job performed, as established by the occupation's tasks, obligations, and responsibilities.
To access information on NOC we will need to find the NOC type code. The NOC code is the
number assigned to the job in Canada's official employment categorization system.
All management positions classified as Skill Level 0, A, or B are considered high skilled labor
vocations. Low-skilled job includes any occupation that comes beneath skill levels C or D. Some
jobs categorized as semi-skilled employment have a NOC skill level of A, B, or C.

Part 3: Cyber Security Careers in the Healthcare Sector in Canada

1. Information Security Compliance Analyst: Qualification required is Degree in a related
field of study such as Information Security, Computer Science, or MIS/CIS; experience in
lieu of education will be considered. The person should have minimum2 years of working
experience in information security field. The salary for this job ranges from $62,000 -
$86,000 a year.
2. Sr. Analyst Information security: Qualification required is undergraduate degree in
computer science, information technology. To qualify for the job minimum 5 years of
hands on network experience or 3 years in information security related is needed. The
salary for this job ranges from $73,000 to $91,000.
3. Manager, cybersecurity: Qualification required is graduate degree in Information
Technology or equivalent area of study is required. A minimum of 5 years of experience
in leading security technology support and service operations is required. The salary for
this job role ranges from $63,000 to $82,000.

Conclusion:

One of the most critical parts of the rapidly evolving digital world is cyber security. Its
threats are difficult to dismiss, therefore it is critical to understand how to guard against them
and educate others how to do so as well.
