1. What’s your favourite way of travelling? By car, bus, plane, train or ship? Why?

Language focus: Conjunctions
1. Read the sentences and put the underlined words into the table.

NOTE
despite/ in spite of
We use despite/ in spite of + noun to introduce two contrasting ideas.
Eg: Despite the heat and the wildlife, it’s quite safe.
