The academic research have influenced positively the life of the humans since through it

has been possible to obtain a technological and social advance. I agree that the best way

humans can improve and increase knowledge objectively and reliable is to continue

developing and improving like specie through reputable academic research.

The academic research is the base of everything that surround us nowadays, it is for this

that to be able keep developing it is necessary that every day there are more researchers,

to follow creditable methods that allow more investigations to be developed based in other

tried and true theories (Johnson, 2012). In the article “Why is academic research important?”

(2020) the writer talks that one of the things that makes academic research information be

trustworthy is the fact that they use the scientific method like an objective tool and as a

protection in case of mistakes. This method guarantee that you have the last available

information to formulate hypothesis that are tested with experiments and from which you get

data that permit to determinate if the hypothesis is correct or not. All this research are verified

by professionals in the field, which assure their objectivity and compliance with the method;

it is from all this knowledge that new developments and products are created for humanity.

All this methodology and verification makes all the academic research a reliable and

important source of new information, which nowadays, during the information era, is hard to

find, due to all the information found with skewed opinions and false information. All this new

knowledge has led humankind to achieve incredible milestones like getting to the moon,

decoding human DNA and a lot of feats that surpasses imagination.
