This is a working method to reimburse ANY article of Zalando with a success rate of 80%

(this number is subject to change, but we’ll come back to it later) be able to keep both the items
AND the money.

The steps are as follows:


1) You place a legitimate order for MAXIMUM 6-7 items for a total of MAXIMUM 250-300€.
When you place the order, you must make sure to uncheck the option where it says 'Zalando
allows shipping to be divided into partial batches', otherwise you will get more than one
package in different days.

2) Wait a few days and when you receive the package, you can start the refund process by
contacting Zalando Support PREFERABLY by phone
(if you are confident) or by e-mail. The chances of telephone success are higher (~80%), while
the chances of email success are lower (~70%).

3) If the refund is successful, you get your money back in a few days using the same payment
method you used to purchase the items.

Now there are 3 methods you could use:


- The Partial Repayment Method (SAFEST):
This method is the safest because Zalando cannot investigate what actually happened. Basically,
after receiving the package, you call/email support and say that some elements are missing from
the package.
If you bought 6 items, you can say that 3 are in the package while 3 are not. If you bought 7 items,
you can say that 4 are in the package while 3 are not.
This method works best even if you may need to pay for the items you say are in the
package,
so to make it profitable, you want to add 3-4 items CHEAP (below 50€) and 4-3 items
EXPENSIVE (above 50€).
This way, you will only be able to pay for the cheap items and get the expensive items refunded.

- The empty packet method:


This method is less secure than the previous one, but it allows you to refund ALL items you
have purchased.
When you call/ email support you just have to say that the package was empty and no item was
inside.
They will most likely ask if the package had any signs of opening (as if the courier opened it
and took the items from the inside), and you can choose to say yes or no depending on how
confident you are.

- The Did Not Arrive (RISKMOST) method:


This method is the most risky and the result is about the same as the «empty packet» method,
then you may still want to use it first.
Basically, you call/send support 1 or 2 days after the package arrives saying it has not arrived and
you are still waiting for it to arrive.
This is dangerous because Zalando keeps track of the packages and they know exactly when
they leave the workshop and when they are delivered.
If you use this method, make sure that no one signs the package for you and that you actually
sign it yourself with a fake signature at the same time it is delivered.

Now I’ll give you some tips and notes to make the refund process smoother and
increase its chances of success:

1) Never exceed the 300€ limit because Zalando can actually investigate further with the
messenger and they could have you file a police report and something like that.

2) Never exceed the limit of 6 to 7 items because even if you uncheck the box to ensure that
Zalando does not divide items into different packages,
they will probably split the shipment anyway if the number of items (or their size) is too high and
then you will have 2 packages delivered, but you could not refund any of them*.

3) If you choose to call them, you will be convincing, but don’t seem too upset that your package
has not arrived.
Making credible, possibly trust and experience will come with time after a few refunds.

4) NEVER refund more than one order on the same account, and always try to use new
accounts (accounts without previous orders) to make refunds.
If you have already repaid an order, it will look like a strange coincidence for Zalando that every
package they send you has “problems” (is empty, does not arrive at all or has missing items).

5) Do not get reimbursed several times to your own address, as this will only cause Zalando to
investigate after a certain time. Try using different addresses such as your parents' or friends'
homes.

* = Keep in mind that you may try to refund both packages at the same time, but it will be
difficult for Zalando to believe that both packages are empty or that they do not have the right
number of items. Don’t push your limits and when you speak to the support you want to make
the story as credible as you can.

If you follow all the previous steps correctly, after contacting the support they will send you an
email saying that they will process the refund and you will get your money in a few days.

Sometimes, before sending the money to the payment method you used to place the order,
they will ask you to read and complete a legal form where you must confirm that the package has
had problems
(came empty, did not arrive at all or has missing items, depending on the method you used).

Once you have filled it out, you are ready to leave and will only have to wait a few days until
the money comes back.

If something goes wrong during the process and Zalando does not want to allow your claim,
sometimes it is better to step back without pushing too far.

For example: if you say that the package has not arrived and that Zalando wants to
investigate with the courier before returning the money to you,
it means that the refund is most likely to fail and the best thing you can do is to contact them again
and say
your neighbor took the package without telling you and you found it (just be creative with the
excuses you choose to make).

À this stage, they will close your refund claim, but you can still return the items in the normal
way if you do not want to keep for them.
