• Minister of State for New and Renewable Energy has launched the Pan-India Rooftop
Solar Awareness Campaign titled as “Ghar Ke Upar Solar Is Super” at Bidar,
Karnataka.
• The campaign will be run by the National Solar Energy Federation of India, in
collaboration with the German Solar Association and the German Federal Ministry of
Economic Cooperation and Development under the Sequa KVP Programme.
• It is a 3 year long program aimed at increasing awareness of Solar Rooftops among 100 Indian
towns and cities, especially tier 2 and tier 3 towns/cities.
• The Ministry is providing 40% of subsidy for households to install solar panels.
• In this scheme, farmers will be given 30% subsidy each by centre and state to install solar
pumps.

mathematics.

mini-proteins that they say can render viruses like SARS-CoV-2 inactive.
