To our distinguished guests, to the Public Schools District Supervisor Mr.

Willie
M. Adonay Jr., to the Barangay Officials headed by Honorable Captain Ladeslao
Mejares, to the Faculty and Staff of Nug-as National High School headed by Mr. Eugen
V. Romarate, parents, friends, fellow completers, ladies and gentlemen, Good
afternoon!

I am absolutely honored to be standing here representing the completing class

of the school year 2021-2022. On behalf of all the completers, I would like to thank
you for joining us on this momentous occasion.

Thank you to the administration for the guidely oversight you bring to the
school and for answering the tough calls when needed; to the Nug-as National High
School Teaching Force, who give your all each and everyday laboring to provide us
with the tremendous education and pushing us towards our best. Ma’am and Sir, we
are grateful for your extra time to build good relationships with us that for some will
last a lifetime.

To each member of the family of the completers whose support, sacrifice and
dedication has not been overlooked; especially the parents and the guardians who
had supported us financially and morally until we completed Junior High School, MA,
PA DAGHANG KAAYONG SALAMAT SA WALAY SUKOD NGA PAGHIGUGMA UG

Being a teacher wasn’t easy and so as being a student. There are a lot of
challenges to be conquered. Be strong enough to face every challenge that will come
along the way and always fight back even in the most difficult times of your life. Just
take a deep breath. Just say, (KAYA RA KO NI!) Pray to God and surround yourself
with people that will give you positive vibes and distance from whom that will give
you negative ones. Always put in your mind, that you are all capable of taking on any
obstacle that may come in your life in anywhere at any time. Dr. Seuss once said,
“You are off to great places, TODAY is your DAY, your mountain is waiting, so get on
your way!”
Way back… As we started our Junior High School journey, we felt a lot of
excitement with mixed emotions. Eager to learn and willing to do our part and
responsibilities as students. Later on, we have learnt how to foster relationships
through these tough times, quite literally finding the meaning behind the saying
“through thick and thin”. At a young age, we were thrown into this thunderstorm of
uncertainty and irregularities throughout the year, but we fought through it by the
ways we could have never imagined. Most importantly, we developed good
relationships with the people we love. We are grateful to those people that went on
this amazing journey with us, especially in times of Pandemic and over countless
deadlines and exams. We had many memories over the course of our Junior High
School journey. We all learned a lot. We all had one goal in mind and that was to
make our mark on the school that we attended and make our mark on the world
once we graduate. We all have different career choices, but we are all bound by the
same aspirations in life which is to COMPLETE on our Junior High School journey.

I’m sure all of us will remember the families and friends we created among
ourselves that looked out for each other at every step of the way. We all have faced a
challenging Junior High School experience that has never happened before, and we
overcame it, made it worthwhile, something that I would like to call: unprecedented.
CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OF US! WE DID IT!
Nakaya ra jud nato!
We must make a choice to take a chance, if we want anything in life to change.
We may fail once or twice, but don’t say it’s enough. Instead make this as a
motivation to continue and embrace our journey with humility.

Triumph will be at the end of the road with a great celebration. I pray that the
class 2021-2022 will walk out of here today, feeling proud of all we have
accomplished over these 4 years. And always remember, it’s not about the friends
you make while in school but the memories that you leave behind and that really
counts.
