It is our real pleasure to welcome you to the second edition of the International Conference on
Digital Technologies and Applications (ICDTA’22),
), organized as an online event owing to
the current Covid-19
19 pandemic and broadcasted from Morocco on January 28
2 – 29, 2022.

ICDTA'22 is an international conference that encourages quality, scientifically valid, original

paper which presents a good understanding of scientific knowledge, experiments
experiments, and
theories, methods, and techniques, as well as interdisciplinary linkages, in the field of Digital
Technologies and Applications.

The

COVID’19, agriculture … In addition, other topics of Embedde
Embeddedd systems, Blockchain,
industry 4.0 and their applications are also considered.

The ICDTA'22 has succeeded to attract more than 200 participants from different universities
of the world, A very rich and attractive scientific program covering multiple aspects of
various topics is designed to provide an excellent opportunity for networking, dissemination
and, exchange of innovative research findings related to different issues and topics.

The overwhelming success of ICDTA’22,, is doubtlessly the result of the commitment,

perseverance, implication, and hard work of different stakeholders, particularly, the
Organizing Committee Members, Technical Program Committee members, keynote
keynote, and
invited talks speakers, and all the participants. We seize this opportunity to address them all
with our most sincere thanks and gratitude.

Prof. Josep M. GUERRERO received the B.S. degree in

telecommunications engineering, the M.S. degree in electronics
engineering, and the Ph.D. degree in power electronics from the
Technical University of Catalonia, Barcelona, in 1997, 2000 and
2003, resp
respectively.

Department of Energy Technology, Aalborg University, Denmark,
where he is responsible for the Microgrid Research Program. From 2012
he is a guest Professor at the Chinese Academy of Science and th thee Nanjing University of
Aeronautics and Astronautics; and from 2014 he is chair Professor in Shandong University.
His research interests is oriented to different microgrid aspects, including power electronics,
distributed energy-storage
storage systems, hierarchical and cooperative control, energy management
systems, and optimization of microgrids and islanded minigrids. Prof. Guerrero is an
Associatee Editor for several IEEE TRANSACTIONS journals.

Prof. Pierluigi SIANO (M’09–SM'14) received the M.Sc. degree in

electronic engineering and the Ph.D. degree in information and
electrical engineering from the University of Salerno, Salerno, Italy, in
2001 and 2006, respectively. He is a Professor and Scientific Director
of the Smart Grids and Smart Cities Laboratory with the Department
of Management & Innovation Systems, University of Salerno.
His research activities are centered on demand response, on energy
management, on the integration of distributed energy resources in smart grids, on electricity
markets and on planning and management of power systems.
In these research fields he has co
co-authored
authored more than 500 articles including more than 300
international journal papers that received in Scopus more than 10100 citations with an H H-
index equal to 49. In 2019 and 2020 he received the award as highly cited Rese
Researcher by ISI
Web of Science Group. He has been the Chair of the IES TC on Smart Grids. He is Editor for
the Power & Energy Society Section of IEEE Access, IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON
INDUSTRIAL INFORMATICS, IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON INDUSTRIAL
ELECTRONICS, and Open JJournal ournal of the IEEE IES, IET Smart Grid and IET Renewable
Power Generation.

 Speaker : Mohamed BENBOUZID

Prof. Mohamed El Hachemi Benbouzid received the B.Sc. degree in

electrical engineering from the University of Batna, Batna, Algeria, in
1990, the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical and computer
engineering from the National Polytechnic Institute of Grenoble,
Grenoble, France, in 1991 an and
d 1994, respectively, and the Habilitation
à Diriger des Recherches degree from the University of Picardie “Jules
Verne,” Amiens, France, in 2000.
After receiving the Ph.D. degree, he joined the Professional Institute of Amiens, University of
Picardie “Jules Verne,” where he was an Associate Professor of electrical and computer
engineering. Since September 2004, he has been with the Institut Universi Universitaire de
Technologie of Brest, University of Brest, Brest, France, where he is a Professor of electrical
engineering. His main research interests and experience include analysis, design, and control
of electric machines, variable
variable-speed drives for traction, propulsion, and renewable energy
applications, and fault diagnosis of electric machines.

Dr Imed Romdhani is an Associate Professor in networking at

Edinburgh Napier University since June 2005. He was awarded his
PhD from the University of Technology of Compiegne (UTC), France
in May 2005. He holds also an engineering and a Master degree in
networking obtaine

School of Computing (ENSI, Tunisia) and Louis Pasteur University of
Strasbourg (ULP, France). He worked extensively with Motorola Research
Labs in Paris and authored 4 patents.

Prof. Anis KOUBAA is currently an Associate Professor in Computer

Science at Prince Sultan University, and a Research Associate at the
CISTER Research Unit. He received the Habilitation degree in

her Ph.D. from the National Polytechnic Institute of Lorraine (INPL) and INRIA/LORIA, in
2004. His primary research interest is the design and implementation of wirel wireless sensor
networks and multi-robot
