Abstract. In continuous upgrading world, humans believe in their self-worth. They have
participation in every sector of life, but lives have become so vulnerable these days that the safety
and security of their lives are one of the burning questions about this pandemic corona virus
disease. Considering all incidents and violation of rules do not spread against humanity this idea
of a smart wristband safety device aligned with GPS and GSM modules, with temperature and
pulse sensors came into consideration. During dangerous situations user just needs to press the
SOS button fitted on the wristband, or the sensors will sense an increase in temperature or pulse
rate and then automatically the message of user location tracking via GPS will be sent to the
registered numbers through GSM. The main objective is for the device to be light weight and
place the SOS switch in an easy accessible region, with additional sensors leaving no worse case
possible.

1. Introduction
Health has become a major issue in the world now in COVID-19 pandemic. The spreading rate against
humanity in the country has only risen to a great extent. India ranks 3th in the COVID-19pandemic [1].
There are many scenarios where COVID-19 case is not being reported by the human, which would add
up to a much higher rate. Human kind, of every perspective needs to stand common on the grounds of
individual safety by not causing harm and panic to other citizens. There are fewer laws on safety and
security of human in the health care section [2]. Likewise, there is no much to be done after the COVID-
19 has been committed. Every human contribute to the growth and development of the country, but live
in fear. At times there are situations where there will be no one for the patient to help. This work designed
a security device that has GSM modules included in it. Temperature, pulse rate sensors and SOS switch
are the key subjects depending on which an alert message will be sent to registers mobile number.

2. Motivation and background of work

The challenging situations facing by everyone now-a-days gave motivation to come up with a security
device to help everyone to do the work they liked to do. Devices existing in this context have been a
source of motivation of our work [3]. Safety being provided to healthy people, before virus infection
taking place is a better start to protect such kind. With rapid increase technicality wise, our country
stands in a better position in inventions. By this an embedded system resolving this can be made. Having
the concern, many developers have come up with products including applications of COVID-19. The
issue with using an app is the Wi-Fi that it requires which is not always available. Using only an SOS
button, will also have few barriers as the person might not always be in a condition to press the button

manually, and using only this feature is not quite helpful to the modern problem [4].This productdoes
not exist in the market similar one.In similar one has sensors and also SOS button, but the main issue
arising is only one mobile number can be registered and it is not always practical having a single source
of help. Also the price is high and not reasonable [5]. Figure 1 shows Covid replication in which electron
tomography to show that after disease of cells, MERS-CoV incites different interconnected to change
film structures, including tangled layers and DMVs, which are signs of beta-CoV contaminations, just
as DMSs, which have not recently been accounted for beta-CoVs. Besides, the creators found that
another beta-CoV (murine hepatitis infection), just as a gamma-CoV (irresistible bronchitis infection
(IBV)) and an individual from the variety alpha-CoV (human Covid 229E) prompted a similar layer
structures in various cell lines [7] [8]. Figure 2 shows the temperature Pal brilliant thermometer [6] in

3. Hardware Requirement for Implementation

This framework capacities with 4 distinct modules, for example, SIM800L MODULE (Location
Tracking Module), temperature sensor, heart beat sensor (Sending module), SOS Button. The
determination of parts should be with the end goal that the size of the gadget should be conservative and
the reaction time taken by every single module should be less for fast yield. This significant arrangement
work quality is estimated as far as thought offactors, including, morals, cost, type and guidelines. In
second module as Node MCU utilization of Microcontroller: ATMEGA 328P RISC: 32 BIT. In the third
module as SIM 800L, in this GSM and GPS module are independently accessible on the lookout. As
space imperative is a significant issue in planning a minimal gadget, SIM 808L is the joined of GSM
and GPS module. In temperature sensor modules we are utilizing two sensor one is LM – 35
(temperature sensor) and another is an infrared finger cut sensor. For controlling we are utilizing SOS
key will permit you to send a predefined custom SMS message, including your present area, to up to 3
predefined contacts through GPRS associated with the gadget. The gadget is planned like a convenient

4. Circuits and their operations

This security device which is a wrist band has an SOS emergency button, a temperature sensor to detect
the body temperature using a sensor called LM-35, a heartbeat sensor to detect the pulse of the person
wearing this wristband which is an infrared finger clip sensor and a module named SIM 800L which is
the combination of GPS (Global positioning system) and GSM (Global system for mobile) all connected
to a Microcontroller used NODE MCU. When the healthy person is suspected to be in danger, the SOS
emergency button is pressed once, the microcontroller initializes and using GPS the location of the
healthy person is tracked (values of longitudes, latitudes) and then the location is sent to the registered
mobile numbers saved using GSM When the healthy personas in suspect of danger and because of
situations the healthy person wasn’t able to press the SOS emergency button a set of sensors are
connected to be helpful for detection. When the person is unconscious, the temperature sensor( LM-35)
and the heartbeat sensor(infrared finger clip) detects the changes in the body temperature and changes
in the pulse of the victim, this device still sends the location of the healthy person using GPS( values of
longitudes and latitudes) to the registered emergency mobile numbers using GSM. The registered mobile
numbers will receive the values of Longitudes and latitudes of the location of the healthy person and
can rescue them before the incident takes place. Figure 4 showsa flow diagram of covid-19 device for

After following the appropriate steps for your software install, we are now ready to test your first
program with your Arduino board. Figure 7 shows the software development of security device for
patient health monitoring system.
Comparative analysis of cost and performance: SOS button is used. It sends alert texts to receiver mobile
numbers with the location. The devices send message, whereas here mobile app is being used. Sensors
have not been used. This system is comparatively less cost compared to existing systems. The manual
used to trigger the device is also possible in this system.

5. Conclusion
This framework is intended to help the solid individual in trouble circumstances to call for help just as
ready the encompassing individuals. It has been created to make the security gadget more compact and
agreeable. This framework was planned after reference to effectively actualized framework. Here
measures are being made to conquer the blemishes in past plans and furthermore to decrease the force
utilization. In future extension incorporates the ongoing execution of the proposed framework with the
extra segments like a signal to caution the individuals close by, and a camera to catch pictures of the
COVID-19 patient. Our future degree incorporates the continuous usage of the proposed framework
with the extra segments like a ringer to alert the individuals close by, and a camera to catch pictures of
the COVID 19 patient.
