Position Summary: The station manager serves as a direct contact for pilots and other crew members stationed at a specic crew base. The manager also inspects all PiREPs submitted by company pilots on a day to day basis. This includes but is not limited to ; Correct ight routing, Reasonable ight durations, Safe and accurate aircraft usage, Correct ight plan ling. Must be comfortable communicating with pilots, Crewmembers, general public, be it via text or voice. The station manager is also expected to maintain a positive, good natured attitude. Requirements Essential Functions: Monitor and track station activity/ights. Attend bi-weekly station conference calls Input and maintain station schedules Serve as direct contact for station ight crews Provide leadership by example and to exemplify the virtualBlue standards and culture Maintain and enforce all station/airline policies and regulations Monitor crew base ATC NOTAMs and any other regulations, policies, and procedures Perform any other tasks as directed/requested by station ops and/or virtualBlue executive crew Coordinate various duties with coworkers and other departments to ensure proper operations Equipment And Programs: Skype Microsoft Word Any Email Client Any additional programs outlined by virtualBlue executives Minimum Qualications: Minimum age at the time of appointment - 17 years old. Must have at least 1 year of credible virtual airline experience Must be able to read, write and speak English Must be able to receive and give verbal communication Must be able to visit Crew Connect(c) at least twice a calendar week Able to transfer crew bases need be.
