The instructions enclosed in this document cover software installation.

Please refer to the instructions that came with your product if you have not yet installed an
EZkeys sound library.

We recommend your read these instructions in full.

Before you install this product, you will need to decide which host application you would like to
use it with.

- If your computer is running a version of Windows made for 32-bit processors (regardless of
which CPU type it may be equipped with), then double-click the EZkeys 32-bit Installer included
in this archive and follow the on-screen instructions, making sure to point the installer to the
dedicated VST plug-ins folder your host is using. Pro Tools users can leave all settings at their
default values.

- If your computer is running a version of Windows made for 64-bit processors (in which case
your CPU will necessarily be 64-bit-capable), then the installer you need to run will depend on
the host program “memory addressing” capability.

If your host is running natively as a 64-bit application, then locate the EZkeys 64-bit Installer
included in this archive and follow the on-screen instructions. If, on the other hand, it is running
as a 32-bit application on top of a 64-bit Windows operating system, then locate the EZkeys 32-
bit Installer and follow the on screen instructions, taking care of pointing the installer to your
host dedicated VST plug-ins folder. Pro Tools users can leave all settings at their default values.

If all of the above seems like hard work, and you are unsure what operating system or host build
type you are running, simply run both installers and the installers will either let you go through
with the install process or notify you that your procesor type is not appropriate. It is not a
problem for you to have the 64-bit version installed even if your host can’t make use of it, or vice
versa, so feel free to install both, as far as you choose a diferent target directory to receive the
plug-in component (the default suggestions will ensure this is the case)!

The important thing is to choose the target directory for the plug-in carefully, or, if accepting the
default destination, to make a note of it so you may add it your to your host’s plug-in manager
manually. This is important, as your host need to know where to look for plug-in extensions or
you won’t be able to use them! Please refer to your host application manual for details about
installing VST plug-ins.

IMPORTANT NOTE: A revised manual is available from the Help Menu inside the software.
