My Family!

 I could not even begin to talk about

myself without talking about my family.
They are the reason I am who I am
today, and I'm not sure where I would
be without them.
 I have my mother (Stacey), my father
(Mark), my older sister (Mallory), and my
younger sister (Lauren).
 My mother is a Radiation Therapist for
Comprehensive Cancer Center and my
dad is a retired slot machine
technician for the Park MGM. Lauren is
in the Air Force and works in Hospital
Administration, and Mallory is a
paralegal, and she is also working
towards becoming a lawyer.
My hobbies
and Interests
 I'm a pretty big movie
buff! I like watching very
famous movies and
deciding if they are worth
the hype. I also love
reading up on the behind
the scenes of films/actors.
 I also enjoy watching
youtubers who cook,
do commentary, play
instruments, or do crazy
things like MrBeast.
 I also enjoy long walks
around my neighborhood
and spending time with
my friends.
My Goals!
 One of my biggest goals is to
become a high school history
teacher. Becoming an educator is
the only career option that ever
felt right for me, and it is something
I'm quite passionate about.
 My short term goal (from this date)
is to get my Bachelor's degree in
Secondary Education with
emphasis in history.
 My long term goal is to become a
college professor with a PhD in my
field.
So why go into teaching?

 My appreciation for teachers

started my freshman year of
high school at Foothill High
School. I had a lineup of a
lifetime, and it was because of
them that I had what was
probably the best school year
of my life. Each one of them
showed great care, passion
and understanding to all of
their students. I wanted to be a
part of that more than
anything.
What am I
doing until
then?
 For the past five years, I
have been working at
Albertsons grocery store
as a Deli Associate. It’s the
first and only job I have
ever had, and I have
quite enjoyed it! I have
made many friends during
this time, and a lot of my
customers are on a first
name basis with me!
Working in grocery has
taught me a lot about
being responsible, a
leader and a hard
worker.
My love for
Nevada
 Despite its reputation for its
ridiculously hot weather, I
have always had a soft spot
for my home state. I find our
climate fascinating and its
people even more so!
 I had a very
happy upbringing here
in Henderson, Nevada and I
probably annoy people with
how much I talk about it. The
movie theaters,
arcades, parks, and public
pools were some of my
happiest memories growing
up.
My favorites!
 Some of my favorite foods include
cheese pizza, gyros, pita
and babaganoush. I think my
favorite place to eat is Panda
Express ha-ha.
 My preferred genres of music
includes punk/pop, pop, and
alternative rock. Some of my
favorite bands include Good
Charlotte, Green Day, Weezer
and My Chemical Romance.
 Some of my favorite shows are The
Crown, American
Dad, Dexter, and Game of
Thrones (before that unforgivably
awful finale).
My other
passions
 Besides my educational goals, I
am passionate about other
things.
 I'm interested in ocean
cleaning, getting into true crime,
politics, and supporting small
artists.
 I enjoy watching talented
people on Youtube (painters,
musicians, gamers, etc.) I try as
often as I can to contribute to
some of my favorite creators
Patreons so they can continue to
work.
 My interest in oceans began when
I took an environmental science
class a few years ago, and I have
been really into conservation ever
since then.
That’s all folks!
