ORDER

The Government of Andhra Pradesh is committed to augment inclusive growth of the State
across different sectors and strongly believes that Technology and its development forms the core of
an economy . This has led to formulation of a Blueprint "Re -Imagining Andhra Pradesh - role of e
Governance , Electronics and Information Technology " for development of Electronics and
Information and communications technology industry in the State .

2. In the G.O 1st to 4th read above , in order to promote Electronics industry in the State of Andhra
Pradesh , the Government have put in place the Andhra Pradesh Electronics Policy 2014-2020
wherein a special dispensation has been provided for setting up of Mega Electronics Projects in the
State .

3. In the representation 6th read above , M /s Panel Optodisplay Technology Pvt Ltd (POTPL ) has
submitted a proposal to the Government of AP requested for the Extension of timelines up to
23.03.2022 for commencement of Commercial Production to availing the special package of
incentives under G.O 5th read above , as the company could not commence the production as
scheduled . M /s POTPL informed that due to administrative reasons and COVID -19 pandemic , the
construction was delayed on account of lockdowns and issues in mobilizing labor .

4. The request of M /s Panel Optodisplay Technology Pvt .Ltd (POTPL ) was placed in SIPC meeting
held on 21.06.2022 . The SIPC recommended to SIPB .

5. The State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB ) in its meeting held on 22-06-2022 discussed the
proposal in detail and decided to consider the request of M /s Panel Optodisplay Technology Pvt . Ltd
(POTPL ) for extension of time for commencement of commercial production up to 31.03.2022 in
relaxation of G.O.Ms.No. 15 , Dt : 09.10.2017 . The company will be allowed to avail the incentives
offered in G.O.Ms.No. 24 , Dt : 18.12.2018 without any change in incentive outlay as per the GO cited
earlier .

6. The Government after careful examination of the proposal and keeping in view the
recommendation of the State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB ), hereby grant extension of time to
M /s Panel Optodisplay Technology Pvt . Ltd (POTPL ) up to 31.03.2022 for commencement of
commercial production in relaxation of G.O.Ms.No. 15 , Dt : 09.10.2017 . The company will be
allowed to avail the incentives offered in G.O.Ms.No. 24 , Dt : 18.12.2018 without any change in
incentive outlay .
