In this chapter, we have learnt about Present Continuous Tense, Past
Continuous Tense, and Future Continuous Tense

Those Continuous Tenses have same meaning in generally which describe on


going action.

The difference of those tenses is the time of that action is been happening

(Pada chapter ini, kita sudah belajar tentang Past Continuous Tense and Future Continuous Tense.
Untuk Present Continuous Tense, kalian telah pelajari saat kalian kelas 8.
Secara umum Tense di atas memiliki arti yang sama yaitu menyatakan kegiatan yang sedang
berlangsung, perbedaanya hanya pada waktu dari kegiatan tersebut berlangsung)
Present Continuous Tense

Menyatakan kegiatan yang


sedang berlangsung pada
saat ini.

Example :

Past Continuous Tense
Menyatakan kegiatan yang
sedang berlangsung pada
waktu yang lampau, dan
biasanya diikuti oleh
kegiatan lain

Example :
• I was eating noodle at this time yesterday.
• She was reading a book when I came to her house yesterday.
• They were playing badminton while my mother was cooking
Future Continuous Tense
Menyatakan kegiatan yang
sedang berlangsung pada
masa yang akan datang.

• I will be waiting for you
