Freddy: Last year I traveled to Tarapoto for the Fiesta de San Juan and it was incredible and
amazing! I traveled 2 days before June 24 and met some friends who live there. The 24th is the
main day of said celebration and everyone usually goes to the rivers to celebrate it there
throughout the day. Wherever we went there was regional food, regional drinks and beers and
also a musical group that animated the party all day until midnight. It was incredible to see so
many people celebrating and enjoying that day with family and friends. I hope to come back
soon.
