Praxis Core Exam Analysis

Exam Requirements

I need to pass the Praxis Core Exam because it is needed to become a licensed teacher in

Nevada. It will also help me gain credit when transferring to UNLV. The passing scores are as

follows: 159 for math, 156 for reading, and 158 for writing.

Exam Preparation

As preparation for the practice test I did look over some of the material provided in the

module. To be honest, I did not give myself adequate time to study or to even take the test. I

made the bare minimum effort before taking these practice tests.

Exam Results

In Math, I scored in the 69% range, which means that I need to improve. In, Writing I

scored in the 45% range, which means I need significant improvement. In, Reading I scored in

the 34% range, which means I need significant improvement.

Future Exam Preparation

To attain better scores I will devote more time to my studying instead of doing the bare

minimum. I will ensure to take any practice tests available to me on time as well. Alongside that,

I will get more study material so I can better expand what I know now.
