Develop the situations below

A. You listened to what I have discussed last Saturday on the Nature of Learning Disability. You
write an essay on what you have learned and realized after going through the topics presented.
Mention also practical techniques/ styles/ ways on how you can help them when you will be
meeting them in your classes.

B. Recalling your experiences in school as a teacher/ learner, have you noticed children who
displayed characteristics similar to those mentioned in this unit? With your own way of assessing
them, can you classify them now as children with learning disabilities? Cite personal experiences
with them as you answer this situation. Indicate how you reacted to them and mention also how
they were treated in school/ community or elsewhere.
