1. Case #1
The child on this case claimed that he really got addicted to drugs with his peers and got
involve with illegal activities. He had a good relationship with his mother and he is doing
well at school until he had reached high school, his life started to go side-ways. He still
wanted to make his life productive based on the Q&A on the case study but his peers
drove him to do illegal activities. I believe that SOCIAL DISORGANIZATION THEORY
applies on this case since the subject got exposed to socially disorganized individual that
leads him to be a juvenile delinquent.

2. Case #2
This case requires more control on his self. I suggest that the CONTROL THEORY will work on
this case because the individual got involve with wrong doings through his peers as his
suggestion to his plans that he just have to go on his own way and leave all of his friends alone
to cope up. It just a matter of self discipline. He even admitted it that he is trouble prone and the
best thing to do is to stay in control of his will and avoid troubles.

3. Case #3
CONFLICT THEORY goes with this case since the individual belong to gangs, in fact he belong to
multiple gangs where this CONFLICT THEORY concentrates. This individual depends on the
recognition what his groups gave him. These are the labels that gives him security and in order
for him to be accepted to the group, he would do gang activities. The individual must adapt to
the gang’s values that causes him to make illegal activities.

4. Case #4
STRUCTURAL-FUNCTIONAL THEORY applies on this case. The education of the individual is
messed up, they put him in a special education classroom for his speech and he did not want to
go, he also hit his teacher with a pop bottle. This is an indication that the individual has a
negative social interaction in an institution, like for example in his school. The theory that
applies concentrates on discrepancies of a child in relation with his primary group that guides
the child as he or she grows up.
