INSIGHTS:

The concept of an investment that was already built in my head is that you invest your money
and expect a return on investment at some future date, but conversing with an expert in this field
digs deeper the concept built in my head, revealing that it is not limited to that perspective and
has more interesting context.
If the market is down, this is a chance for investors to invest. If a normal person evaluates this,
they will be discouraged because the price index is low. On the other hand, now that we have a
good understanding of the situation, it is the best time to take advantage of this investment
opportunity, since we know that the market's flow will shift from time to time, from growth to
peak to recession to trough and eventually to recovery. This merely illustrates the movement of
actual GDP, which must be considered while making investments. This is a key factor to
consider while investing, particularly in blue-chip firms.
It is always up to the investor to decide whether to purchase or sell their stocks; nevertheless, it is
not prudent to buy and sell every time there is a sharp spike in prices; rather, we should see our
investments as long-term. We buy stocks, hold those stocks, and if there is surplus money at the
same time the market is down, we should buy and buy more, but we must ensure that we are
engaged in reliable organizations with integrity in these areas to prevent investing scams.
Being able to comprehend this knowledge encourages me to invest as well. Yes, it is risky,
because investing always comes with risks, especially when we choose assets with large returns.
As a result, it is important to conduct extensive research on the investment firms that we have
chosen and to seek the assistance of a financial advisor if necessary. The interview changed my
overall perspective on investment; it encourages me to invest while it is still early because, as
stated by the financial advisors we spoke with, "the best time to invest is yesterday, but the next
best time is today, but the worst day is tomorrow because you never know what tomorrow will
have."
